There's probably only a single version of the game. There was some confusion about the text because the DigiBlast version also has the "bonus level" text kept intact while trimming the lines mentioning the multiplayer levels. It also funny enough appears all the code for loading the Mode7 levels is still present. The level data for them is there as well (in fact the game data is 1:1 the same between GBA and DigiBlast, with only the code and sounds being changed). It seems they simply just modified the code to hide the curtains for those levels thus making them inaccessible.
