Thanks for the comment! It is kind of weird that there was no graphic attached to this event until now, I guess it is because it only happens once a year, unlike other events that are active through the year like TTQ, SOTM and MTI (however this year has not been particularly good for the last two).

Yeah, RD has been a bit underpromoted before, with no announcement or slider banner on the portal, and the counter going up relatively late. We're pushing it harder this year, though it remains to be seen what kind of difference it makes

It also helps to have a motivated and active community, and that comes with more Rayman content. I highly doubt we'll reach the numbers of the years when Rayman rose from the ashes with Origins and Legends, but the Rayman 4 prototype and fangames have really energized the community this year, so I'm confident we can beat the 2022 stats

If both Steo and The Jonster can make it to RD, I think the 2022 stats will be easy to beat.

Maybe we can reach the record if we disable all of the anti-bot measures and let the forum run rampant with bot advertisements for a day.

We'd have to delete them all afterwards though

No, just annoying...

But we could leave the bot messages up to make it a part of this site’s history as when bots overrun the forums

Even if there are fewer messages, I prefer the interactions to be real. I don't like the idea of bots spamming all over the forum.

There were a couple attempts in the past (I can remember Lovy's infamous weather bot, and a much nicer interactive game), but nothing beats real interactions!

The intelligence of the bots will increase in the future, so who knows, I assume there will be more cases of people being fooled into thinking they're interacting with a real person, when in reality they're talking to a chatbot (probably something that can be further discussed in the AI topic).

It isn't even necessary to create sophisticated chatbots, there are fools in Twitter arguing with bots thinking they are other people

They definitely would be fools anyway, but it does seem pretty difficult to distinguish human from bot these days
