There is a forum section, but it's for discussion rather than documenting. When it comes to the latter, wikis are a better option. See my post about it here. :)

I swear I saw a listing of the fangames somewhere…

Yes, RayWiki has a list of notable Rayman fangames, but that's about it.

Ok, maybe we could add extra information to them?

As much as I wanted to see Redemption get its own Wiki pages and becoming canon, it wouldn't be right to do that on the RayWiki and the latter is all up to Ubisoft (sadly ).

So yeah, we need another project for gathering information about the Rayman fangames... and preferably something that's not FANDOM. :hap:
Honestly, Ryemanni's fangames have enough meat to get a full-on Wiki about them. With Dark Magician's Reign of Terror, Redemption, ReDesigner, Bowling 2 and the Spooky Raymansion trilogy, we basically got a whole subseries of Rayman games made by Ryemanni.
You can count me in as an article contributor if someone starts such a platform since I have so much knowledge regarding these games. :hehe:

We could get a fangames section in RaySaves! :noel:

Perfect! As I said here, I'll start thinking about the ideal setup for this. In the meantime, don't hesitate to start discussing the project itself in that topic!

Alright! That will be the opportunity to finally put to use the database that’s already been created in my brain! :noel:
And as I took thousands of screenshots and I can extract the sprites and textures in the games using Undertalemodtool, we would have tons of resources to illustrate the articles too!
Yes... thousands... I became so paranoid about making sure I have all the needed material for content such as reviews that I hit the screenshot buttons way too many times. :oops2:
Maybe we could also ask Ryemanni directly if he could want or do anything for the project once we have a concrete setup. He already has his own website, but considering all the content he has made even outside of Rayman, I think he could do with an "official" wiki dedicated to all his works. Could be the opportunity for him to share his concept arts and unused graphics directly! :hehe:

Another great benefit of this project would be to revitalise the community for Redemption and especially ReDesigner, as wikis are always great to give anything more attention and maintaining them alive!
Speaking of which, while I have you here, can you make it so I can edit the main post in the Rayman ReDesigner English topic please? Because I still can’t do it and some content are in desperate need of being featured in the list. :hap:

Sounds great! Naturally, we're gonna want to have something solid before bothering game developers with it, but ultimately, getting them to contribute too would be ideal. :D

Thanks, that's been updated!

And yeah, I agree, better have anything solid first so they can find the idea interesting as well.
If I find enough time, I think I'm gonna start experimenting with some drafts of what could be articles on such a platform, so we could have some material nearly ready for it at the beginning (depending on when it starts, that is)! :)

These sound like two good quotes for my collection! :hap:

Feel free to keep it! :noel:
And I can only approve the first quote, so I'll add it to my collection too! :bad:

Mine is in my signature (with a random selection shown each time you reload), not sure where Saturn's is :mefiant:

As of now, it's in the same place as my database :hap:

Do you have an eidetic memory? Or synesthesia? :mefiant:

Neither, but I do have a very selective memory for very meaningless things. :noel:

Fair enough. I still remember the model number of some Panasonic air conditioning units that were used to cool servers at my Dad's workplace (they've probably been replaced by now :hap:)

(Btw my Biology teacher was convinced I had a photographic memory, but in reality I just have synesthesia :hap:)

I see! :noel:
One of the oldest memories my database brain never wiped out was a silly thing from when I was about 3 years old: I picked up a glass of water in preschool, turned it upside down as I wanted to look at it from another angle for some reason, and then I discovered how gravity affected liquids. :hap:

That's a pretty cool first memory! I think mine involves gravity too, but in my case it was just tripping and falling in the house and getting quite upset about it :oops2:
