Pretty cool!

Maybe i’ll do a little VN once i’m done with the whole site, too.
So, after checking out the code once again, i found out that all the pages have bottom-margin of 2000px, which makes them seem separate. While it does work for that layout, it certainly doesn't for mine. So yeah, i found
this code, and it pretty much does the same thing and works like a charm!

Just wanted to share.

Wait that's your website? I'm glad I was able to archive it!

I think I was about 15 when I first built it in 2002 and around that time I think a bunch of us in the very early days of the fandom were doing it, of course being inspired by Rayman Fanpage DE and Rayman Psychopath.

I've finally gotten around to doing something with my website again, after having been a bit absent in a timespan of a
decade...
But here it is:
https://reeseriverson.com/
So basically I updated to a newer WordPress theme called
Toocheke so I could use newer version of PHP. Here's
what the default theme looks like. As you can see, I've given it a significant overhaul.
I wanted to keep a bit of the glassy/aero like feel I love, in combination with a space background with the twinkling star effect going.

Nice work on this. I love the background it has, and it's very clear how much better this looks than the default Toocheke theme also.
Also, aero theme was the best. New Windows is well, crap lol.

Interesting you bring up Aero, seeing as Apple seems to be re-embracing such aesthetics.

Yeah! My own website also has vibes of Aero mixed with old web. However, I feel like I should revamp my website with better CSS and HTML. the front page is a mess! Also one day I hope to selfhost, and have my own domain!

This is great work! I have to admit, I've always been a sucker for space backgrounds. The twinkling stars and the aero theme (gosh this windows theme has always been good) compliment it really well.

Thanks man! I spent the entirety of a the weekend before last on the styling. This sort of thing is just time consuming.

Hehe, yeah, like the good ol' early days of RPC with the old Solaris theme! The stars were brilliant, and this one just works so nice with that animation effect!
