Ah yes, the Solaris theme. Looks a little outdated from today's phpBB3 standards but a nice style in its day. I would agree that the orange planet and stars weren't particularly nice though.

Back then, guests used to be allowed to post in the forums, but that was changed, at one time we had a sub-forum for guests, then that was gotten rid of too.

Which was a good thing. Man, a lot has changed since then.

The current RaymanPC theme is the one I've seen on my whole RPC career.
So that's the one I'll remember.

There was an even older theme for the forum and the portal (must've changed in 2003 or 2004), and even one before for the portal only (lasted no more than a couple weeks). Not sure I can find screenshots though.

In any case, great idea to bring up some nostalgia here! And as concerns the subforums... well, all I can tell you is that there's more than you know.

What's really sad, is I never got to try out the RPG mod you once had here on RaymanPC.

I honestly prefer the original. Lols. I just love that it's so much darker, and the goldfists were awesome too. Was stylish, was very interesting. Plus I loved the postbit and the little title you had under your name. : D

Oh yeah, those goldfists were awesome. I also miss the dancing Rayman on the front too.

What I am wondering is, could we get a Solaris like them back as a optional theme?

I would really like that.

They do make older style themes for PHPBB, maybe we can get Hunchman to make us an Original Theme.

I'll pay $2 for it.
