On the contrary: that is the entire point of my argument.

I am not fully up to date with modern slang or potential new words, so would you mind explaining the meaning of the word "congused"?

When precisely did I state that a plane attacking New York would crash in the Netherlands?

Now I'm even more congrused (pun intended).
But I guess you're right.

You know what? Golden rule of politics #1: You're allowed to fuck over your own county, just as long as you don't enforce your laws on other ones. I honestly can't see them being able to enforce this law effectively. Supposedly it's only US citizens they're tracking, but every time someone makes a transaction on an American domain, is when those details will be kept in a great big database, so they'd have to tell the American IPs from the non-American IPs, and then look even further because some pdople maybe using IPs from a country other than their own to avoid being tracked, and at the end of it if someone manages to break into this massive database we could have mass identity fraud and identity theft cases everywhere. Just like SOPA, PIPA and ACTA before it, this bill is a massive trainwreck just waiting to happen.
Seriously Governments of the world, stop fucking with the internet. More bills like these translate into fewer votes for you. Think about that for a second.

It's because all those who support the bill have no fucking clue what technology is and have never touched it with a twenty foot pole. Seriously, in a century or two from now, people will be laughing back at the twentieth century and how we still had natural organs.
