Rayman Pirate-Community

MasterHero, have faith in the forum, whilst its true we are sensitive to change, we're not like some of the more "extreme" Sonic fans.
Looking at the footage:

I doubt a drastic change in aesthetics would be made to Rayman, since the given representations in the video seem rather faithful to the source material.

NOTE: If a character appears in this section, it does NOT mean they will make an appearence in Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale. We want to listen to the fans through this source, as well as many others, to find out which they want to see.
Remember that if a character you wanted does not make the cut once the game is released this Holidays, we will still support the game with a big amount of DLC.

So, even if he won't make it in, there's still a chance.

Rayman Just reached a lot of likes... He's second only to Crash! Would someone support also Jak and Daxter? They haven't a lot of likes...

This afternoon I passed by my mother's Facebook to make a "Like". At least my vote is already in there.

I wrote a journal on dA advertising it. The RPC and Glade of Dreams club would do a good one posting a journal there too. Haruka?

I posted a thread about this in RaymanZone. It must be a couple of years since my last login there. I know the place is as dead as the dodo, but there must be at least a few guests who’ll come across my message, and in any case, what have we got to lose?

Do we have anyone willing to volunteer to make a YouTube video about this – fairly soon? I think that might be our best shot at getting this to an audience large enough to make a real difference. I just know I won’t be able to look at myself in the mirror if Rayman gets fewer votes than the guy from Kingdom Hearts.

I think it has been done enough! Then we don't know if the page is official or not... They added Goku... That's a bit strange... They also added Jak and Daxter that are (even if not officially) confirmed in the game.

I'm rather busy at the moment, however, tomorrow marks my last exams, then I can return to being completely productive, I did have a predetermined schedule in mind, but in this case, I'll let this take priority.

It’s definitely official. Remember, they’re just posting images of these characters to see what players want. Some of the possibilities are strange, some of them are obvious, and none of them are set in stone.

Well, I am having an idea for a video. Lets hope that a good number of my more than 500 subscribers pay attention to it.

Wait – you have five hundred subscribers? You could definitely make a significant difference, but I recommend you get working on the video soon – the longer it’s up, the more votes Rayman will receive. We don’t know when SuperBot are going to make their decisions, and a video that’s uploaded too late may not have as much impact as it should. (By the way, I did enjoy both Kingdom Hearts games, although I didn’t finish either of them. I really like the central idea, but I don’t care for the gameplay or the original characters.)

In any case, Rayman seems to be doing quite well at the moment:

#1: Crash Bandicoot – 83
#2: Rayman – 67
#3: Spyro the Dragon – 62
#4: Sora – 62
#5: Goku – 35
#6: Lara Croft – 35
#7: Jak & Daxter – 21

Indeed it would, and whilst I do not boast the phenomenal amount of subscribers Haruka has, I will try to play my part.
I'm curious asto why Jak and Daxter are there though, the existence of Sandover Village in gameplay vids practically cements an appearance, that along with the recent HD rerelease.

I liked the image yesterday and good to see Rayman is #2 at the moment.

Anyway Rayman has 67 votes as I am typing this. Holy balls that is awesome. That's twice as many as he had yesterday! Look out, Crash!

I've tried the two main games of KH and the GBA game once, but I didn't like a lot. Not because of being bad games, by the contrary. It is just something that doesn't seem ok with me. Perhaps the fact that my RPG tastes are much more centred in Pokémon and Mario.

Anyway, I'm rendering my video right now and uploading it soon. It isn't big deal since it was rushed, but I hope it works and helps making Rayman getting more votes.

Rayman is off by 1 vote you guys, shall we really let our loved limbless one lose to crash bandicoot? Crash Bandicoot has a pretty silly fanbase, kind of like Sonic, not as bad though, (I don't hate Crash at all, I loved his old games) I'm suprised Rayman NEARLY has more votes though, with crash's fanbase I'd think he'd be WAY ontop of Rayman, we can't give up now. Cmon keep voting! Make multiple accounts if you have to, let sony know that we want Rayman to be a fighter for this title.

edit: I also made a promise, that if Rayman does not make it in the game, I'll make a "Hitler Reacts" video.
