I actually am aware the ones on ps2 are MUCH much better I didn't like secret agent clank very much, though Tools of Destruction was alright.
Not a huge Ratchet fan here. But the HD collection might be interesting.
I think it's based on taste whether you think the PS2 installments are better than PS3 ones (or reverse), me for example, I can't decide between Ratchet Gladiator and A Crack In Time (

) as my fav R&C Games, but that might be because they're the only two R&C games I've ever played.

I admit, my favourite R&C title was probably A Crack In Time, though I can see why others would not consider a favourite, I found it more serious compared to the other titles, and I did like the Time Puzzles.

The only time I played A Crack In Time was when I rented a near destroyed copy of the game, where the game would suddenly freeze and fuck up. So yeah didn't get very far. But the time puzzles were alot of fun to do, unless they were really difficult.

Believe me, whilst the main story puzzles aren't too difficult (bar the last one), going for 100% means you'll have to do bonus time puzzles in order to get Gold Bolts, and they are real head-scratchers.
It's a shame that there are no level creation tools for time puzzles, it would be interesting to see what puzzles people could make.

I'd love to, but there are current-gen titles which have caught my eye, as such, R&C HD is in my desirables list, but not my Most-Wanted.

Assuming that it won't get pushed back again, we shall (for those in Europe) be playing the collection by the end of the week and then Full Frontal Assault/QForce in Autumn. Great way to celebrate 10 years!

I pre-ordered my copy of the HD Collection about a month ago, and will in two days time be playing it. It kinda sucks that everything comes out (usuallly) on Thursdays in Australia, mainly because it means if I buy a game or something like that I don't get much time with it before I have to go to Taekwondo training.
Two more days...

I honestly would prefer now to buy the original PS2 games/editions due to their cheaper pricing now and to give more use to my PS2. I wished I had money to buy the main games now.

When it comes to trophies on the PSN, I think I've become somewhat of a completionist. Those trophies just have such a big lure for me! I can imagine that it'll be the same for when I get the HD Collection. Right now my 100% sights are set on Assassin's Creed II, but that'll be put aside while I play the trilogy.

If you're getting the original 3 for PS2, I also highly recommend Ratchet Gladiator/Deadlocked. It's more focused on combat than the previous 3, but it's quite fun indeed. I remember that I could burn quite a bit of time in the Robot Graveyard, with those endless waves of robot zombies! Good times...
1 more day...

Aha, aha, I love it.
So anyway, I got the trilogy and I've been playing Ratchet & Clank Uno! Al in all so far the graphics aren't too bad, gameplay is great and yeah, pretty much all I have to say. Opinion to be continued. I might test out the multiplayer later.

Bump. It seems that Full Frontal Assault has been renamed to Q-Force in Australia. I didn't think that name would get by classifications...
So I've played the multiplayer a few times now on R&C 3, and I can say that it is fairly good. And the additon of the Morph-O-Ray to change enemies into sheep is just hilarious.

Rape is serious biz here.
That or we got it from Europe.

I still think Clock Blockers would've been better than a Crack In Time.

True, but we can't scare away the parents who buy the games for the minority of gamers that are children.

Same here I loved Gladiator! That's why I was disappointed to hear that Japan was the only country getting the game along with the HD Trilogy.
