If i could help, though, i would! I want to learn how to use java, and html but i know little of html and nothing of java

BUT: Hunchman, i'd rather wait a year and have it perfect then wait a day and have it rubbish.

I know a bit of Java programming, eventhough I'm young.
While my bro' was at university I would sit near the computer going 'Are you done yet' or 'I'm bored' or 'Hurry up I'm bored I wanna use the computer' eventally I got out that habit and asked 'What does that do' or 'If you do that then it does this, right?' Both ways he still got pi*sed of

I just know PHP and HTML, and it's enough in order to make a Rayman Search Engine working with Google

lol, awesome! I know html too! (not very well, but i know it)

It's not so difficult, and I'm now working on my phpBB code

(yeah...i actually foudn out how to use html through the forums )

java is very easy to learn. everyone says that to start to program you need to start from visual basic though that's not true since java implements every priniciple of basic programming if explained well. if you want to start from the real basics as i did in my programming learning, do so by learning Assembly.

very easy.
go to the nearest library, go to the ICT section, look for a book entitled JAVA basics or something similiar and buy it

Oh...but where do i actually find the program to run JAVA?

it should be in the book but if you want i can pass you a compiler.
another option would be downloading it from the sun microsystems site

there are about 3 java compilers.
the sun microsystems is the best one (sun ONE studios)

Could you give us some URLs where people can learn programming?

HTML isnt really all to hard to learn. I know it, all i really need to learn now is the specific commands

well... online tutorials aren't as effective as books.. though if you want the best ask me what language you need and i will supply you with the best tutorial
