Hi Nicolai, thank's very much for your message, it makes me happyRaymanPS1 wrote:Hi Rémi Gazel! So nice to see you here. My name is Nikolai, and I am from Norway. Even though I am from all the way up there, I still remember your masterpieces from the late 90's. You formed my childhood!I really have to thank you for all the great memories you have given me and my childhood with making this wonderful music. Video Game Music is really underrated, but these tunes from this game, everyone loves, even my familiy members says so.
I am very happy to see you doing this project, even after all this time too. I almost start crying from the memories, when listening to the music on the YouTube-video you put out. I hope to see more! With that said, I have a few questions I hope you can answer:
1. How did you proceed when you made the music back in the 90's?
2. How was your meeting with Ancel back then? What did he think about the music? Did he ever praised you for it?
3. What is your favourite Theme from the game?
4. What have you been doing since the release of Rayman 1?
5. How is the projects status at this current time?
6. Why did you decide to go back to this after all these years? You must have seem the quality in it.
7. Why did you decide to make music for the game "Rayman" in the first place? Why excactly that one?
8. Is it possible that we will ever see you back in the series again?
9. What are your plans for this project? What is your goal with this?
10. Can we get English Subtitles so we know what you are saying in your reherse YouTube-video?
Again, I am a huge fan of your work. It is nostalgic and legendary, and I really hope over anything, that you suceed with this project!![]()

Wow, Rayman 1 was born out of a rap inspired by a party at Ancel's house? How... incredibly fitting, actually, considering the era.rgazel wrote:2. How was your meeting with Ancel back then? What did he think about the music? Did he ever praised you for it?

I feel very well your enthusiasm indeedRaymanPS1 wrote:Well, thanks a lot for replying Rémi!Your English is good in my opinion. I do think you will find out some way to succeed!
When can we excpect to hear a second reherseal?
I really liked the first one. Was it difficult to make the music work out when playing live? Is there more instruments that will be joining your team? I heard you mentioned in the video you would like some more instruments, and one more piano player. Will you try out some of the other songs you composed for the game, or these songs for now? Also, I can see that you joined this forum in 2009, so you have been thinking about this project for a long time, right?
One more question that I always have been wondering, did you earn a lot of money from Rayman 1's success? And also, When was last time you talked to Ancel? You have any contact with him anymore? What about this collabaration with Ubisoft you thought of? What is your take on that? Good or bad idea?
Making those tunes on Atari + Midi...hahaha, very impressive. So different today in 2014.
Sorry for posting so many questions RémiI am just so excited to be talking with you, since your work has meant so much for me.
Also, I am sorry, I saw you were online and decided to post this, but you logged of in the same minute as I posted. I just want you to know that I, and the entire community appreciate it a lot when you come on here, and we hope you can come online whenever you have time and would like to talk to us
Anyways, glad you appreciated my enthusiasm

Okay. If your keyboard wouldn’t work, then you wouldn’t be able to compose music.rgazel wrote:It's was just a jokeFifo wrote:What happened to it? (Just wondering.)rgazel wrote:And, heu... sorry, My keyboard doesn't work any more
