It's actually because of the US's supremacy. Had they decided to speak Chinese, you'd probably be speaking it too.

We still only speak it over here because of England. We could have been speaking Irish natively if it wasn't for that. However, I think I'm happy with English because it's so common for it to be spoken.

You’re right actually, and English is better than nothing so we’ll stick to that.

It's pretty true that the rest of the world just copy the US though. It's like US is Apple and the rest of the world is Samsung.

The US seems to be a lot more Apple-focused because of the bubble colour it seems, and WhatsApp is nowhere near as big there for some reason.
