Livid also means extremely angry, and that could well describe the "dead" there.

I would presume so, considering the Teensie species there are ghosts.

Well, i didn't mean real black. As you might know, we usually call brown people black, and the teensies in the yellow suit have brown skin.

Ya know what I want for Rayman 4? A good gameplay and plot.

I'd like an awesome storyline with scenic levels and new powers, equipped with another ingenious scoring system.

About scoring, I would really like to see a turbo-combo mode, that would multiply point values by themselves.
Got it? I think nope.
O.K., we score 30 things and activate turbo-combo. Now we score something for 10 points.
10x10=We get 100 points. Now we score something for 30 points.
30x30=We get 900 points. Now we score something for 1500 points.
Now guess yourself how many points would we get for it.

Sounds a bit too complicated. Combo mode is a brilliant system though.

It works very well in Icy Tower. And don't tell me you hadn't got multipling on paper in your school.

You're actually confusing me now. I'm not saying the calculations would be impossible to multiply, but I'm saying the scoring system would be too complicated. The R3 scoring system is simple and easy to understand.

I actually like the turbo-combo idea. It sounds like a good way to score lots of points. Yeah! POINTS!

Yes, it is really hard to explain powering. [sarcasm]sarcasm[/sarcasm]
Sorry, it is really not complicated. Combo's simplicity is O.K., but there are already 3 "levels" of combo, right? (1x, 2x and 5x). I really think most of people would not want to know more than "the more things you scored, the scores are more comboed" or something like this.
The thing that I really want in R4, however, is big number of mandatory returns to already visited locations. With new parts of them.

There aren't three levels, there are five. 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x and 5x. It goes 2x, 4x, 6x, 8x and 10x if you've got a powerup at hand.
In R3, the combo rises up each time an object is added, until 5 objects are added, then the value of the object is doubled. Once 10 objects have been picked up, the object would be tripled and added to the combo, and so on and so forth.
For example, this is how combo addition would look like for a yellow gem
10
10
10
10
10
20
20
20
20
20
30
30
30
30
30 +
270
...that's if 15 gold gems were picked up.
From what I can understand (I'm having slight troubles because of your English), this would be similar in your turbo-combo.

Nope. It would be only addition to R3 scoring. If it works this way that I understood your post, it would be like this:
Level 0 (0): 1x.
Level 1 (1-5): 2x.
Level 2 (6-10): 3x.
Level 3 (11-15): 4x.
Level 4 (16-30): 5x.
Level 5 and the last one (turbo-combo): (30<): xx.
So, example. We score 10 points 51 times in a row.
Zero one (the first): 10 points per value. 1x10=10.
1-5: 2x10=20 points per value. 5x20=100.
6-10: 3x10=30 points per value. 5x30=150.
11-15: 4x10=40 points per value. 5x40=200.
16-30: 5x10=50 points per value. 15x50=750.
31-50: 10x10=100 points per value. 20x100=2000.
When you add it all, you get 3210.
EDIT: It is not only combo, it counts regular values also.

I think that R4 should have a Hall of Doors, but every level that branches off of it should be freeroam.

We have already talk on this, non-linear levels aren't good usually.

I think there should be a free-roaming hub, that allows you to enter different "missions", and that some of these "missions" should be played in normal levels, but that others should be played at different locations in the hub.

In my opinion, there shouldn't be the Traditional world map. Getting to different worlds or levels should require walking/running/jumping or teleporting.

It's boring when you can't explore around between missions/goals. That's what my curiosity says. Like you said, I'd prefer going through levels BY FOOT anyday. I don't give a shit if it consumes time. At least it's enjoyable... Most of the time.

The Sanctuary of Fire and Stone was free-roam, and it was the best level of all.
