There hasn't been a new Jak and Daxter game in ages. Now there's coming one, and we, as Jak fans are very happy about that. Now what do fans of other series do ? Break us down for no fuckin' reason. So what if Uncharted or Zelda is better ACCORDING TO YOU ? We have waited in hope for this moment for years, and now, if we're happy, because our dream is coming true, Mr. PS3 fanbitch and Mr. Funbreaker4321 have to try to break our fun.
Just let fans enjoy their series without being brought down. Is that to much to fuckin' ask ?

I'm a Jak fan, i just want a worthy sequel to the old Jak games, that has the same fun and atmosphere as the older ones, and i want it on a console i can afford. Yeah, you certainly are a great thinker. I'm from Belgium, where the native languages are Dutch, French and German. I live in the Dutch region. My Dutch is flawless. My French, German, and English aren't / won't be, because they aren't my native languages. First of all, Jak 4 is being developed by High Impact Games, not Naughty Dog. Second of all, same developer doesn't always mean same quality. You need to understand that. If Jak comes to current-gen systems, the graphics will be way better, but that doesn't necessarily mean they'll be realistic.

So High Impact Games will learn from the mistakes they made on Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters and Secret Agent Clank, and Naughty Dog will learn from the mistakes they made on Keef the Thief, Rings of Power, Way of the Warrior, Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped, Crash Team Racing, Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, Jak 3, Jak X: Combat Racing, and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.

Give them a go, i would say. Rent them, and play them. Preferably in chronological order ( start with Jak And Daxter : The precursor Legacy ) and then play Jak 2 : Renegade, and Jak 3. Though i should note that Jak and Daxter : The Precursor Legacy isn't the game why i fell in love with the Jak and Daxter series, and you will probably also don't. I must say, Naughty Dog learned from their faults from Jak 2 in Jak 3. For example, the secrets, in Jak 2 this was pretty confusing, in Jak 3 it was a straightforward secret shop.
