Well Linux on PS2 has nothing to do with what I'm doing so....Rayman123 wrote:I've found that Linux for the PS2 is extremely rare, but for the PS3, it's not. If you want more info, you may not trust the source though, go to Wikipedia and type in "Linux for the PS2," and/or "Linux for the PS3."

I'm just saying, though. You can import the programing data to the PS2 hard drive(once you have it after adding it on) from your computer, make a lot of edits from the PC controls, graphics, and resolution plus such, and you have your game. Although, it may take more time to do.

Interesting, though CryEngine3 just plain wasn't programmed at all for PS2, so it probably won't work. Interesting though about the PS2, more open-source than I thought.Rayman123 wrote:I'm just saying, though. I'm not trying to say that you are supposed to have Cryengine and the system. You can program Rayman 1.5 on the Linux- supported PS2.

Why do you keep changing the 360's numbers?

Re: Rayman 1.5: Revenge of the Dark
Is this dead? oh please, dont be dead! this project is light in the darkness, the flower in the desert, THE FUTURE!
Anyway, i had a request if this is not dead. As i'm a Rayman1 fan, and dont enjoy the other Rayman games as much, i'd like if you made the return of the punching glove, instead of those lolballs he shoots... the shooting fist is kinda the trademark of rayman, and i think it would work in 3D, and maybe even, make better gameplay
Good Luck, and dont give up
edit:
also, if you havent found any LUA coder yet, try asking in this forum: http://forums.filefront.com/ I saw the birth of an awesome new Star Wars game in that forum, and it recruited coders, mappers etc fast.. Dunno if you'll have any luck with Rayman here tho, but it's worth a try

Re: Rayman 1.5: Revenge of the Dark
This game has both. And Rayman's fists are in 3D, in Rayman 3.
Re: Rayman 1.5: Revenge of the Dark
well, I kinda meant that you shoot your fist like in Rayman 1 instead of those lightballs or whatever they are
Re: Rayman 1.5: Revenge of the Dark
You shoot your fists in Rayman 3 as well.
Re: Rayman 1.5: Revenge of the Dark
oh, ok
However, this project isn't dead? I find no recent updates =(

Re: Rayman 1.5: Revenge of the Dark
Okay guys, I'm still working on it, but I just installed Windows 7 Ultimate about two days ago and I'm having a few HDR lighting problems, causing me to have to turn all the settings to medium, and it doesn't display some things properly.
ARG WINDOWS 7 HAS NOW BROUGHT ME SOME SLIGHT ANNOYANCE!!
But that doesn't stop me from working on it, which I am. I just want it presentable when I post an update.
