I wonder if we'll get any news regarding the Rayman Fan Film Festival, as the deadline for submissions was yesterday.
A new Rayman Alive event of any kind would be a perfect conclusion to this year!

Sorry to disappoint you but from what I heard it didn't receive many entries so it seems it won't happen, at least at the moment

Welp, that's just how it is sometimes, maybe next year then!
And even should it not happen, perhaps we could set up a mini-event similar to Rayman Alive in the future, it's always a great display of the Rayman community's talent and dedication!

Shouldn’t the Minecraft DLC be coming out sometime soon?

I haven't heard anything about Rayman Alive this year, so I'm not sure if will be a thing in 2024. The previous editions were great and it was a great opportunity for the people to show their creations, so hopefully it won't be abandoned and we can see more creations next year!

Hello everyone! I’d like to announce something really exciting, Rayman Alive is returning for its 3rd edition to celebrate Rayman’s 30th anniversary, which will take place on September 1st.
You might’ve noticed that the event has received a fresh visual update with a new logo, extra decorative elements, and an overall more polished look. I’m planning to carry that upgraded quality throughout the entire event.
I’m really excited to return to this project after a one-year break. It should be a fun and meaningful way to celebrate the anniversary. Expect news about art challenges and featured projects in the coming months.
For now, here’s a teaser I made for this edition, showcasing some of the projects that will be part of Rayman Alive:

Nice one! I’ll make sure I tune in for then!
Also, can I suggest the name “Rayman 30” or “Rayman Alive 30”?

I just realised what a strange time we are currently in as Rayman Fans. Barely any 3D fan games out, but in a year or two there’ll be dozens. So we’re living in the time where nearly every 3D game is in development.

Now imagine there being more 3D fangames than there are actual games. If you told me this a decade ago I'd have been remarkably sceptical. It's amazing how much more accessible and open the tools are for making games now.

It’s brilliant! It’ll be even easier in 10 or so years time, probably. Even huge projects like ROTD that have been going on for twice an average Chav’s lifetime have been rapidly speeding up lately!

Haha here's hoping, I've dabbled in Unity once or twice to add mods for some games, and I didn't have the first clue what I was doing. Blender I know a little better because I've faffed with CAD modelling, but it's still a very different paradigm.
All which I'm saying is, damn even if it is easier, you still have to admire the skills of the folks making these games.

Trailer for Alive 2025 reached 200k views today. Hopefully, this will bring more people to see the full event in September.
