Think that listing regarding an FX artist was mentioned
here. It might be worth consolidating all the rumours and developments in that thread, imo.

I've went ahead and merged the two. Not that I want to be that person, but in the future, it would be appreciated if people check existing threads to see if any news they have can be shared in one of those threads rather than creating a new topic for it. Thanks for understanding!

I would suggest changing the thread title back as the "multiple" projects part is speculation, and people will get the wrong idea with that title. Each Ubisoft studio including Montpellier is working on many projects (and many IPs) at any given time, so the unannounced project is more likely to be completely unrelated. It could also simply be a job listing for the same project as the "Rayman brand" listings. I really doubt there's more than 1 new Rayman project anyway.

I don't remember ever replying to this thread, but I'm glad that I did, since this news is great! I'm super excited to see what we'll get, and also to see if those rumors were true!
Despite Ubisoft's blunders and horrible decisions, they have a lot of talented and creative people on their teams, so I'm also ecstatic to see the art direction, too!

Hm, that's weird. Why was the second title retained as the overall title? Anyways, I
*think* I fixed it now, thanks for bringing this up Droolie!

Maybe they're cooking with rage because people won't stop demanding a new Rayman game

Look at these job applications for Ubisoft Montpellier and Milan! It seems this is getting serious...

Not that I'm doubting what's posted, but in this age of easily made links and fakes, I have to be sure. Is there any link or clarification on these snippets?

Thanking you, sounds like things are getting ever more real and real. Though I will admit I'm surprised by it being a "AAA title," it's not the sort of effort I'd have expected for a Rayman game. If that is indeed the case I wonder if we'll be hearing much about it this year, or if this is going to be something we'll be waiting on for a bit.

The fact that it’s an AAA title makes me both insanely excited and insanely worried.

Let's remember that AAA doesn't actually mean anything, especially in the mouth of Ubisoft who stated that Skull&Bones was AAAA even though it's one of the emptiest live service games you could ever find.

True, though I think the one constant with that nomer is the long development times, which is more my angle of intrigue at this point. Goodness of the game itself very much is in the air, and there's also the other concern of...attached services that may come into play. Never let a potential monetisation platform go to waste.

Oh it's gonna be one of those NFT-driven online thingies is it?

Either that or it’s weirdly realistic! That’s why I’m keeping my hopes down!

I'd be sceptical of it being an NFT-ridden thing at this point, that fad seems to have come and gone, and the only Ubi venture I know of that used NFTs was that Captain Laserhawk thing which I hear didn't do very well.
MTX-laden on the other hand, is where my concerns would be more inclined to lie.

MTX-laden? I tried googling it and nothing showed up, is it like a live service game?

Microtransactions (often abbreviated to MTX), tend to be in live service games, but not only (I believe Shadow of War was a single player game that got a lot of flak for including MTX to alleviate the grindiness of the game - it later got patched out).
Think of it as those small IRL monetary exchanges to buy cosmetics in a shop, or perform timeskips, buy upgrades and so on.
