Well, you are a lot more wise than me, and I suppose this contains sarcasm?spiraldoor wrote:I bow before your superior knowledge and experience, oh wise one.RayTunes wrote:Trust me, there are lots of stupid people in this world.
No, my sincerity is deep and immaculate.RayTunes wrote:Well, you are a lot more wise than me, and I suppose this contains sarcasm?spiraldoor wrote:I bow before your superior knowledge and experience, oh wise one.RayTunes wrote:Trust me, there are lots of stupid people in this world.
Best post ever.spiraldoor wrote:The newcomers would have to be pretty stupid to be confused by the presence of the number ‘4’ in the title of a self-contained game. Even if they had not played the previous games, they would immediately recognise that Rayman 4 is a sequel. These games are not story-dependant. You do not need to have played all of the previous instalments in order to enjoy and understand the latest one.RayTunes wrote:You know, I doubt that Rayman 4 will ever be made. If it were to be made, then the newcomers from the last 7 years would be confused, as they might not have ever played the games.
This post would like to have a word with you...RayFan9876 wrote:If companies always went back to basics that would be really lame actually. Change is the ever-lasting evolution of ideas, and it's better than moving nowhere at all, let alone going backwards.

If you think about it though, if Rayman 4 were real, the darker atmosphere could potentially create one of the best and most creative games on the market. I'm not saying that as a fan, I'm speaking literally.RayTunes wrote:I got off-topic, sorry.
I think it should have the darker atmosphere used to describe Rayman 4. I truly wonder what Ubi's next step will be after Rayman Origins.
Haha, that's exactly what I'm trying to do.RayTunes wrote:I've always been a fan of dramatic stories. One containing Rayman would make a good combination. I still wonder why such a masterpiece turned into a jolly party.
Nothing could make that game Rayman 4, least of all the Japanese marketing team.RayTunes wrote:By the way, I believe the japanese version of Rayman Raving Rabbids has an ''4'' on the cover. Woukd that mean RRR is truly Rayman 4?
I doubt that would work. Using a cartoony mascot character in a dark and dramatic plot would seem very out of place, and probably fall completely flat. The Sonic series is a good example of this.RayTunes wrote:I've always been a fan of dramatic stories. One containing Rayman would make a good combination.
Sonic isn't really an example of what will happen, it's more of an example of doing it wrong.El Dango wrote:I doubt that would work.
