I'm guessing this doesn't usually happen? Do you remember playing differently in the previous part?

I'm sure it's to do with playing on a Mac.
According to Droolie, the Slapdash is in the intro_17 level file. (Reading ancient posts ftw.)

I have the ''Slapdash Glitch'' too and I guess it just appears on the PL versions of the PC game maybe.

I've been playing the PC version since it's release, and that's never happened to me. I'll try replaying it on the mac a couple of times to see if it always happens, otherwise I'll try and remember if I did anything differently. It was also my initial thought that the score could be higher, but I didn't see that there could be a significant improvement..

With a Slapdash present, two or more large combos could be connected, allowing room for major score improvements.
From what I gather this glitch is only available to PC players, as I've yet to find any console players who've experienced the same thing.

Strange that others have experienced it on PC, perhaps it's only the DVD version or something. I find it difficult to believe that I could have played TFC as many times as I have and just not come across the glitch, so I don't think it's in the original release.
@ MandM81 - as soon as I finish trying to get boot camp to work and I restore my files, I'll get on that screenshot

I believe Stan experienced this glitch a few months back.
It kind of reminds me of the Lockjaw glitch in part 2 TTOTL, which is PS2-specific. Nobody's found out how to trigger that one either.

Really cool screenshot. Thanks! That Slapdash would make the last Matuvu combo a piece of cake.
By the way, if you kill the Slapdash, will there still be a Slapdash on top of the Mushroom at the end of the part?

Bloody hell! Is the Slapdash always standing in the same place as in the screenshot? Well, it certainly opens up for new possibilities from a scoring point of view.
Now, I could use a few extra Slapdashes in the next part, one in each room would do. It would make my life a whole lot easier...

Hmm, if it could be shot from the top of the elevator (or near the top) you could probably include the collection of gems in front of you. But if not it would still make life a lot easier with regards to the lower Matuvu...

Yeah, I guess that would give an extra 500 points from the Matuvu. The challenge would then be to make the Vortex last long enough. But it's again wishful thinking for us console players
Have you experienced the Lockjaw glitch in TOTLK part 2 recently?

I haven't actually played the game in a long while. The glitch itself, I haven't triggered for years, but I remember it happening on a regular basis when I played through the game back in 2004-2005. Fishy...

I vaguely remember that one myself. I've only seen it once while playing the game, and I gave up all hope of finding it again. XD

What the... It never happened to me... But I do bet it would be very useful for scoring in F.C..

At the top of the large statue structure a Lockjaw can normally appears when Rayman defeats the Hoodstormers, but with the glitch, the can is already there. This allows room for some score bonuses.
@ Haruka: You're probably not familiar with the combo (and its difficulty) in that room.

Well, it's a room where are some Matuvus, and tricky gems so I do believe that big combos are really hard to do in there.
