Well I do wish you luck with your quest on purchasing a 3DS. It's a wonderful system with some very enjoyable games. And the NEW 3DS seems to be a really good upgrade from sources I have viewed.

I mean just listen to these, the Palutena conversations just go absurdly off topic to the point of trying to be so "random" while as the Snake conversations they discuss stuff in a serious manner while still being pretty funny, like when Colonel discusses Wario's fart to Snake, even he is confused.
As a fan of Kid Icarus Uprising and it's humor, I'll admit the Palutena's Guidance conversations were kind of disappointing, I still find them funny, but it wasn't as good as Uprising's dialogue. The Snake Codecs were definitely executed better, and this coming from someone who's never touched a Metal Gear game.

I would definitely go for the New 3DS if you haven't bought a 3DS yet. The idea of having both a button to control the character and the camera is actually one that I like a lot, and I can imagine it being kinda cool to use on Majora's Mask.

I have a normal 3DS, and while it took me a very long time, I'm comfortable with the size now. However, I think I'll still aim for getting a New 3DS XL, because, well, I like the bigger screen, and it has a C-stick.

I'd probably get whatever 3DS model is easiest to find with the capture device mod.

If you're already comfortable with the size, I'd seriously consider the smaller new 3ds, the faceplates are badass (I've got a yoshi one and it looks sweet as dicks) and the screen is slightly bigger than before, with the shape being much more comfortable to hold. That being said the bigger screens of the XL are nice too, but you tend to stop noticing this when you start playing. Plus the XL just looks a bit boring in comparison.
I'm looking forward to the C-stick getting more support in the future, since it's a really nice nifty little nub, not quite as precise as a circle pad, but still pretty good for camera control etc. So far, only the games that supported circle pad pro and smash bros are compatible afaik.

This made me slightly pissed off http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/20 ... 015/.82875
All this time, I was pretty sure Mario titles are annual and this executive just said otherwise.
Where am I going to find a quality franchise that has new title every year

I'm not big on skins, I usually like my devices to have a neutral but sleek look to them. I see what you mean with the look of it, but for something like a handheld console, I'm going to pick function over form.

I'll share my collection soon.
Going back to Kid Icarus for a post, remember those Kid Icarus anime shorts? As someone who could care less about anime, I would love to see this made into one. This particular short I have embedded below is my favorite.

The Revolting Dinner is pretty good. I like animated spin-offs from games. Kinda why I like TAS I guess.
