Alright, can we please get back on topic? Harpic's troll was more akin to a prank from what I can see, I don't think it's something that should be taken to heart.
- The snowy weather has led to me being put in quite a bad dilemma

You've effectively created a template, and then used that template as it was created. That's not how templates are meant to work, templates are premade tables and items to which you can add specific information to when calling them in a specific article. You were after the {{user}} template.

In this cold weather, a shower seems pretty nice.
