Honestly, I have no clue what the two other reasons are. Only one I know is what Master said, alcohol.

Probably the best option is to ask a different question soon. This one has been going on for too long without much effort from other competitors, in my opinion.

Well, can't argue with results, or in this case, lack thereof.
For the record, the three reasons are:
  • Globox is allergic to plum juice (Murfy tells us as much in his last speech in the game).
  • André prefers fermented plum juice, so there's alcohol in it (he says this when Globox reacts to seeing the first plum in the game in Clearleaf Forest).
  • The plum itself is hallucinogenic (this is stated in its description that can be seen in freeze mode).
Of course, it's arguably unclear which (if any!) of these suggested reasons is to be believed, but I believe I worded the question such that that doesn't matter.

Moving on:
Question 18a: (Ambidextroid can't answer) Which Hoodlums have published a book, and what sort of book was it?

Was it the Hoodboom/Stumbleboom, to do with counting?

Right type of Hoodlum, wrong type of book!

The Hoodbooms published their anthology "Don't Take It Anti-Personnelly"

Question 19: Why does the announcer at Hoodlum Headquarters always refer to the place as belonging to the "Black Lums"? What is the reference?

Black Mesa in Half-Life?

Question 20: In the N64/PC version of Rayman 2, which map containing purple lums can be accessed before getting the power to swing from them?

Hmm, all I can think of is the Purple Lum used to access the Globox Village but as far as I remember that's only in the Dreamcast version

Huh, I never caught that reference. Not to be a pushy git, but could you enlighten me further on that trivia?

As for the second question, I'm thinking it's the second part of the Fairy Glade, if you're being technical. Given how it's got the portion you can only reach through the Echoing Caves.

Hoodlum Headquarters was originally going to be named "Black Lumsa", and the voice work for the game was completed before the name change. Black Lumsa is an obvious reference to Black Mesa.

Much obliged, Rib! Fancy bit of trivia there indeed. I decided to double check RayWiki, it's not on the English version of the article, but it is on the French. I think I'll go and update that now.

Question 21: What evidence is there of Razorbeard personalizing his Grolgoth between buying it and taking it out to fight Rayman?

In the sketch provided by The General, the Grolgoth has a grabber contraption on both hands. On the Razorbeard's Grolgoth, one hand has a cannon rather than the grabber.

I'll take it. There's also the fact that the cannon shoots pirate-branded bombs, but that's covered by mentioning the cannon itself.
