Yes but then we need a Return of the Death Fairy, harbinger or doom and Destroyer of Worlds Tily

The stuff of my dreams! Ooo-hoohoo-hahaahahahah--aaaahh!~~
Bradandez wrote:No it's not! Didn't you see the moons go back? That's obviously means that cutscene is a look into the past, you dumpling.
I like to see that cutscene as a flashback also, but the moons didn't 'move back'. They moved left. There's no telling what way they're supposed to move through the skies of Rayman's world as we've only ever seen them hanging in the air, not moving from time to time. Maybe that's their natural direction and the cutscene is actually a cheesy ending oh-look-it's-not-over-guys Saturday morning cartoon kind of thing.

The "Rayman, quick, wake up!" quote Globox says is not from the beginning of the game. I just rewatched the intro. Globox and Murfy only make screamy sounds (so they didn't need different intros for the different languages - smart huh) - so the quote doesn't prove that what happened is at the beginning of the game. He could just be waking Rayman up again because he sees Andy's back causing mischief.

Where? I'd like to have closure on this kind of discussion if there's supposedly proof that'd bring it about.
Jewish Candy wrote:There is no Legends on the ranklist at all. No matter what you think of the game, that's not fair representation.
If we're going to bring up equality, we cannot exclude RabbidsSergueï. [/DevilsAdvocate]
(Although having mentioned that, I suddenly remember we already discussed this. Disregard.)

Anyway, I'd enjoy a few Legends ranks.

Do we need to create new slots or shall we boot out some other ranks to put them in their stead?

Having listened to that ending, it sounds more like Murfy than Globox to me.

The first thing that is said by anyone in Rayman 3 is when Murfy says "Okay, folks, the show is over!" and he's already dragging a wide-awake Rayman by his hair.

I have no idea why the "Hey Rayman, wake up!" line is taken as indicating either interpretation, seems more to indicate that it's a dream that didn't actually happen at any time.

Also, Green Teensie.

I'm not sure if it's a dream. The events could be happening and there would be the need to wake Rayman up.

I liked your Green Teensie, but I got the idea it was blurred or out-of-focus slightly.

Yeah. I think it's to do with how I resized the image, but I have no idea how to do it properly. Perhaps someone else could try? This is the original: https://raymanpc.com/wiki/en/File:Teensy_a11.png

What program did you use? I seem to remember Photshop doesn't usually have problems with that sort of resizing.

Yeah, I used Photoshop. But there's where I came across the problem... I gave up.

YOU'RE WRONG, YOU'RE WRONG

IT CAN'T BE A DREAM

THINGS CAN'T BE OPEN TO INTERPRETATION!

100% WRONG

Well where are you everybody?? You need to flock in and tell Plum just how wrong he is with exactly the same theory I had

What are you waiting for

Can someone please tell me where this 'Rayman, quick, wake up' is actually located? I've watched beginning and ending cutscenes and found nada.

I think it's only exclusive to the Gamecube version.

Not in the intro, can't find the ending. Personally I'm of the opinion that the entire context of the ending cutscene lends itself to preceding a flashback, though if this mythical 'Rayman, quick, wake up' is indeed at the end of the game, as Plum says that would be more supportive of roles' theory.

Was this conversation not held 10 years ago? Or are we doomed to repeat history, endlessly questioning the words of the elders until we become them?

The only end to this cycle is to find the source that Plum mentioned, otherwise we're going to be stuck debating and trying to remember, rather than having the cold hard article plain and simple.

Look, I was once led to believe there was a source, but now I think I might be wrong.
The "Hey Rayman, wake up!" line plays at the end of the ending cinematic, you have to access it via the Bonus menu to hear it, otherwise it gets cut off by the thing that comes up to give you your HoF code.
I used GIMP to make the avatar (and every other avatar I've made in the past year, including the one I'm using).

The video has both the intro and the outro, which is how I confirmed the line only appears in the outro. I looked for other footage of the actual gameplay beginnings of the game to prove my statement from a couple of posts back where I said that "The show's over folks!" is the first line said in the game (and as such, "Rayman, quick, wake up!" never appears EXCEPT in the ending cinematic - this leads me to think the outro is not a flashback but a current event).
