Still, as Saber said, Hoodlum's Revenge - it's the spiritual vestiges of André that possess Globox in that game, not André itself. And the Rayman-quick-wake-up isn't present in any other version of Rayman 3... Perhaps the Gamecube version can be said to form its own continuity? Would roles be happy with that?

In that regard perhaps all ports of the games should exist within their own universes, where a Hall of Doors for one becomes the Isle of Doors for another or simply The Front for yet another...

(I can't wait till my exam on Wednesday is done with and I can install this PSII and get to playing Revolution on its native console. Aw yish!)

Well, the state of the Hall of Doors isn't really a narrative issue But Hoodlum's Revenge couldn't have taken place after GC R3. It's a Zelda-esque diversion.

Have fun dodging the Red Hunch's missiles, they certainly caught me off guard during my first run of RR.

Scared the bejeezus outta me when I went back to the game. I've got the technique down for them now - stand still at a good distance and wail on the pirate - but bleh. I'm putting off and putting off the Prison Ship because I hate hate hate that last section...

The bit with the flying shell? I don't remember it being all too bad.

I loathe it intensely. I've had to spend far too much time on that one section. Shells, walking or flying, just don't work well with me...

Well, like I said in the R2 thread, it's been misbehaving and sometimes speeds up, I was guaranteed to lose health if I were at a shell segment if that happened, can't control them when they're rolling around at the speed of sound.

Aye, I love those robotic horse-puppies, I really do, but when you've got a naughty controller and have less than perfect reaction times there's just no way.

Who says the "Rayman quick wake up" line anyway? The voice sounds vague enough to literally be Rayman, Globox, Murfy, or Andre.

I got a Murfy vibe, which would fit somewhat, since he's the one trying to shake Rayman into awakeness.

I think Murfy's the only realistic option, though it still doesn't quite sound like him.

According to the French RayWiki, Murfy says it, and since the characters have more distinct voices in French, that's probably right.

Hmm, it is true that this discussion is better suited to the R3 thread, if it's annoying members, than we can easily move there.

Given how interspersed the overall conversation was, physically moving the posts in relation to it might not be a feasible option. The last time we did something like this, we moved to the relevant thread, and just created a link to the previous post in the other thread, and noted the link before carrying on. I probably should have used "carry on," as opposed to "move to."
