Any chance of you typing out exactly what it says concerning 2D Nightmare?

Is it really just, "Get all of the cages?!"

I might go visit some local game stores which carry a lot of old strategy guide archives and see if I can just flip through one too.

The Rayman 3 guide by Bradygames doesn't mention 2D Nightmare at all. I'm starting to doubt its existence; that picture on Raymanzone could've been fake and the extra slot in the arcade section could easily just be Ubi fucking up.

Didn't someone find the name in a text dump a few pages back?

Oh wait, it was in a separate topic in fix.lvl, that was here:
viewtopic.php?p=376896#p376896

Maybe we just need to find this "secret passage?" I don't even know.

There is a secret area only found in the Gamecube version actually, you can see some gems through the hole in the wall of the shooting gallery that the targets are coming out of. But it seems to be impossible to collect them.

I was sure that my theory about that would be right. Someone should try it in the GameCube version.

I have also the GC version, but I don't know how to unlock those two games.

My theory, to refresh your memories, was that the hole through which the Hoodstormers come in the first room of HHQ pt 2 lead to the secret area which Spiral thought he saw.

It's not a "secret area" so much as a dark void with three yellow gems hanging in it. Even if there were a way to access it, there might not even be a floor to stand on in there...

Maybe it's just part of a fall down to a floor, that's colourful on the inside, like Kal Ory's secret.

I have a screenshot from the PC version showing where it is in the Gamecube version. Click it.

I understand. I mean that if you were in there, it would be colourful and dropping down to a floor lower down, very like Kal Ory's secret.

I advise using 3d ripper x, enable wireframe mode when you are there and look what's behind it.

I believe it is the best solution...

Oh.. that hole. I already investigated it before. Haha. The targets just spawn in there and slide out.

I'm not too familiar with that. Will it work with a Gamecube emulator?

If the emulator uses DirectX.

Doesn't it appear on the PC version?

Right now, we can only assume that this particular thing is GC-exclusive.

Maybe it's just some sort of debug-mode representation of the spawner and a glitch causes it to be seen in normal play in spiraldoor's copy.

Are you saying that it's specific to my copy of the game? If so, we're screwed, because that copy was scratched quite badly some years ago.

I think it's more likely to be found in all Gamecube copies of the game than to be a unique and strangely specific gem-causing mastering error exclusive to my disc.

Maybe it's a few discs, of which yours happened to be one.

Surely someone else on this forum has the GC version?
