I hope I can return to the hardcore gaming on my PC games this month. I think that this is it: my Desktop PC is going to be 100% fixed this weekend.

The holiday starts tomorrow so I'll start practising by then. I'm fully recovered by now, but as I haven't played the game for almost half a year I guess I'm quite rusty. I have worked out the combos during the period of inactivity and the game plan has been long ready. I just need to get my timing back. I'm prepared to play 12 hours every day until I get it right.

I will start out with FC and then go for LOTLD.

Are you ready to play again?

Excellent. Would be nice if someone else is playing.

I have four new combos to deal with. One is in the bag while the other three are working on and off. I need them to work at the same time, which has yet to happen. Ah well, I foresee a plethora of restarts... :pfff:

TLOTLD is indeed great fun. I will play this level right after I finish FC. Could be tomorrow, next week or next year... :|

What's your best score in TLOTLD?

Hey folks. I've been decided to start playing R3, too.
MandM and DTUCC made me doing it.
I haven't played for a few months, but I want a bit of competition :P

Well now's your chance - my score seems to have been removed from the HOF list again.

Okay, excellent. I'll be playing TFC again I suppose, although I'll be rusty as hell with the combos (especially the customised ones). TLOTLD seems like an option too though - I think I gave up playing that level last time because I misjudged the score boundaries.

Mostwanted: It's cool you start playing too. What level will you start with?

Xenon: I chose to start out with the hard work in FC. Then I can look forward to the awesome LOTLD as a reward. If I remember correctly, you need 90.200 points after part 3 in LOTLD. Thus if you get around 38.500 - 39.500 points after part 1 and 61.000 - 62.000 points after part 2, you'll be safe.

The competition is on, let the game commence

nice to see there's a bit of competition again :)

I gave SBTC a try again yesterday but I failed again. Didn't manage to pull off the launching glitch a sinlgle time.

Also, I thought about the matuvus in part 2 of FC again and I still can't imagine a way to combo it for 1.250. Any slight hints, MandM? :P
No seriously... That blue bastard is driving me insane

Haruka: You can find a lot more points in LOTLD and it's fun too. If you need some ideas, just ask.

DTUCC: This time around I focus on part 3 and 4 in FC. It would be too hard for me to also go for the Matuvu combo in part 2. But I will return to FC at a later date to pick up the missing points. As for a hint, well, may I ask you first: From which positions can you take that Matuvu in combo? When you have found that out, you have to work yourself backwards and include the gems you need.

Have you found anything new in any levels that may help you increase the scores in R3?

There are two places where the matuvus can be takean from, one of those is pretty useless as the matuvus can be taken for 250 in combo only.

From the other position I can get the matuvus for either 750 points or 1.000 by getting some red gems early. don't see a way to get 1250 in combo, though.

As for the rest, I haven't found anything new as I didn't have a lot time to play at all. And whenever I was able to play, I played SBTC part 3.

MandM, on part 2 of the TLOTLD I cannot reach the balloons, how you do that to reach them?

Do you have the PC version? It was impossible for me as well, but I remember devising other combos which bring even more points than MandM's version, thanks to the bonus enemies which do not appear in the console versions though (well yeah, I'm not gonna pretend creating better combos than him ). If you're interested I'll search through this topic to find them.

Haruka: As Hunchman mentioned, if you play R3 on PC, part 2 is different from the console versions and you are better off playing it the way Hunchman has developed. If you play on PS2 or X-Box it is a matter of practise. It is not easy making the right jump to the first balloon, but you will get it eventually.

DTUCC: Are you able to combo the Matuvu from the position where you can get it for 750 or 1.000 points? If so, how many times have you got it?
