I didn't suggest to lynch you, I just suggested it would be worthwhile discussing suspicious behavior because the more conversation we get out of people the more we're likely to find out.

No, I didn't think you said you'd lynch me, I was just saying that communication of information (preferably in secret) would be a better choice than lynching based on the evidence we have so far which there is little of, though this is just my opinion. I do think discussion is a good idea, but lynching based solely on what has been said so far would be a bit of a jump I'd have thought.

Yes but when you have little to go on the more conversation the better! - and it should be done in the thread because then everyone can access it, and there are fewer trust issues.

The thing with conversation is that what we're essentially waiting for a slip up to happen which is unlikely to happen if there so happens to be a good player on that side.

I would be fully on board with Hallelujah's idea if it wasn't for the fact that there's great risk in roles being leaked out to the acolytes, who would lie to you about their own roles.

Watching how people defend themselves and react to accusation can tell you A LOT & help put things into perspective

Yes I guess so. I'm personally inexperienced in such things, so I wouldn't really be of much help when monitoring discussion for clues, but I'll do my best; it seems, as Lakitu said, that right now my idea can't really be used either because of the issues with trust, so examining posts is all we can do. I would advise not being hasty with lynches though.

Day 3 - No Lynch

There's not that much suspects so I can't make any suggestions.

Well it seems like this day is going to be another one of inaction, as much as I hate to say it.

Do we have any leads to go by whatsoever? No? Is there no such thing as a sneaky spy who lurks in the middle of the night?

Alas. Then we wait.

Unfortunately I have no leads. We do need to encourage speaking up a little bit though, or we will not be able to do anything about the acolytes!

Day 3 - No Lynch

People don't seem to be taking me up on my 'lets talk it out' approach... Either because they're guilty, or don't want to be lynched by accident. But something needs to change. Rapidly.

These PM's that are going round demanding for us to tell what our roles are just don't add up. The people asking could easily be Mafia trying to find out which villagers have the most power, so they can shut them down first. That's exactly why we need to talk things through out in the open.

Yes, they've threatened to kill me if I don't give up my role.
If they are elves then I don't agree with their seemingly dictatorial methods...
I won't reveal who they are though, for their safety.

Still, there's not much to talk about, probably why nobody is. Hopefully positive action will be made by someone with the power to, but for now it seems like we can only wait.

I agree that everyone should state their roles in this thread for all to see. Just roles though to start, not powers, as that would give the dreaded group a direction forr who to kill first. The fact that PMs are being used also makes me quite suspicious :mefiant:

For now, Day 3 - No Lynch

None one died last night: maybe the Whipping Father and his acolytes have just given up on wreaking havoc on Santa's village?

In any case, the elves decide that it's not worth lynching anyone, and go back home slightly reassured.

Night 3 begins!

You may use your night actions. If you do not wish to use your night action, or even if you do not have one, it is required that you send me a PM entitled "Night 3 - Idling". Failure to do this may result in immediate elimination from the game.

The deadline is Sunday 1st, midnight (UTC).
