Ah yes, for winning the RO Art contest, yes?
Who was it that had issues getting a shirt from Ubi?

Yes, indeed.
Who had the shirt problem (and still has) is Adsolution. And 2 years already passed.

How did it happen? UbiSoft should be responsible company. Did Ad try messaging them somehow on their support page?

So, today I got my new, mint Life-sized Rayman statue!
Although, I noticed some interesting parts about it, otherwise I wouldn't post this. I thought it might be great to share this:
1. it came with a instruction manual! I had no idea they exist. I was thinking that maybe I should scan it?
2. The base for the statue is different from my old one, which has two stickers. My new one only has one sticker and the material for the base is also completely different from my old one. Which makes me wonder, if there are two versions of this statue? Since the colors for my new statue is also slightly more vivd as well, but then, maybe my old one is just a little bit sunfaded.
(3 - it's impossible to get on the left hood string, it just doesn't work, no matter how much I try. The best I could do only resulted in the hood string being extremely loose, and I wouldn't risk it. This probably explains why so many statues seem to miss the left hood string)

The jealousy is unanimous, I'm sure, congrats again on getting such a rarity.
I'd be interested in seeing those scans, if it's not too much trouble.

Y'know, with stuff like 3D printing, if someone were able to replicate the statue's design and measurements as readable data, couldn't we theoretically manufacture our own replicas?

Well, toss in a few £1000 and we could get 'em now...
Heh, either way, it'd be nice if there was a way to manufacture replicas of such a brilliant thing, I know I'd love a miniaturised version as a desktop decoration, should I have a desk in the future.

Hahah nice

Too bad Rayman stuff is kinda obscure. I remember I had a Rayman 3 magazine - is that rare?

Difficult to say on this one. The Raymanzone magazine saw a release only in the UK. For a short time (a few months, several years ago), an eBayer was selling mint copies of them, before they vanished completely. I haven't found any copies since then, which could arguably put it on the same level as the life-sized statue in terms of rarity. I'm not entirely sure of that, though, since I don't know who else owns it, besides me and at least 3 others.

The magazine is really rare now, but like Eshap said, there was someone selling mint copies before, and it was were I got my copy.
Congratulations for adquiring such a rare merch, Equinox! I would love to see the scans!
