It looks like a mix of my childhood memories of making my own Mario levels in Mario flash games with level editors, and one of my favorite games of all time, Mario Paint.
It is something I'm also interested to get. I just hope it won't be very expensive.

Well, sadly the Club Nintendo is going to be shut down. :(

Thank god it is shutting down I say. If I was never able to receive items properly and if they couldn't include every single country on list for general shipping (of course it is fine to have regional exclusive items from time to time but in a good number of countries, mostly in Eastern Europe and Africa, Club Nintendo never existed in any way so people were forced to fake country), then why should such service exist? Nintendo said there will be replacement and hopefully it will be equal worldwide no matter where someone lives. I think Club Nintendo is closing for good and that something better will be its replacement.

I had no idea it was that bad, though I never got to use it fully.

I can say what I did dislike was the points expiring. :?

Ahem, American speaking. I'm saddened by the news and was shocked to hear this announcement. I've been a member since 2011 and have been using a lot since 2013. Though, with their lacking stock of physical rewards and more rewards being digital, it makes sense that they're shutting this program down. The rewards they offered were pretty nice and saved me a few bucks, though they could have lowered some of their prices if you asked me. Club Nintendo will be missed, waiting every month to what's new and what deals they offered. Hopefully, they do make another improved rewards program.

Wow, the news caught me by surprise. It is a shame the service will end, I am a member of it since few years and traded star points for few exclusive products that were cool.

On the other hand I won't have to worry to get sealed games anymore just because of the Nintendo Club PIN code panflets.

Time to think in how to spend all the star points.

Is it just me or is Club Nintendo logging not working at all?
Also,

This is awesome and it needs to be implemented into future Mario games.

Let's me log on, but won't let me take my darn surveys.

Also I bought Super Mario Galaxy 2 today for $10 before the sale ends.

I can't be the only one who finds Wii games on eShop useless. You can get the Wii games physically with disc and a nice box online or in a game store for also cheaper.

I also find Wii games useless on eShop so you are not the only one Omar. GameCube on eShop would benefit more.
But I guess there are some people who don't like physical copies and buy games digital only (not saying Brad is one of them but there are some people who do it so Nintendo probably wanted to mainly appeal to them). But if Nintendo wanted improvement, they should have upscaled eShop releases and make them Wii U pad compatible.

If you hack the Wii Mode, you can download a GCN emulator that works within it.

Both of you are trying my patience! Nintendo is doing this because these three titles are hard to find these days, well just Punch Out and Metroid Prime Trilogy, I don't know about Mario Galaxy. Not only that, this is ideal for those who couldn't get it the first time around and what the prices they're asking for is phenomenal! You can grab all these games for $10 during the first week? Hell yeah people are gonna want this! Why Wii games you may ask? Because it's easier for them. They have the software of the Wii already in the Wii U. I myself would rather have a physical copy of the game myself, but as I mention these titles are hard to find for a reasonable price. Gamestop has no new copies of Punch Out and they're asking $30 for a used copy. $30 FOR A USED COPY! And I bought Metroid Prime Trilogy last month for $43. I'm kind of getting more comfortable with digital releases if they keep doing this for hard to find games, just like the Virtual Console. I gladly welcome Wii titles to the eShop.

The process is too tedious and to my knowledge, it also requires that one owns regular Wii before being able to play it on Wii U which defeats the purpose of even trying this because you can play GameCube games even natively on Wii.

Research indicates that the reason for the second Wii is to create a disc image to use on the Wii U's emulator, there are alternative methods for obtaining said images, no?

@ Brad, you're making a point there. Well as long as I can get the Wii games cheaper than it being sold on eShop, it would be more likely I would get the physical copy.

@Master, I'm using Nintendo. It's less of an emulator but more of a frontend acording to the developers. It works great as you only need to put the ISOs in your USB or SD storage and can launch them right from something like USBLoaderGX or WiiFlow.
