I'm wondering if this is a trick question.

Nothing changed for the players? Only thing that changed as far as bubblizing was the enemies immediately popped and gave 5 Lums.

It was more to do with the bubblisation itself. It's not something that might spring to mind as obviously, it's to do with the sound effect. In Rayman Origins, when bubblised, the sound effect used is a sort of magical chime, while in Rayman Legends, it's the sound of a tape rewinding.

It's a bit more subtle than I'd have hoped, perhaps this would've been better as a bonus question.

QUESTION 19 - In an early version of Rayman 3's script, instead of being reformed into the Heart of the World, what happened to the 1000 lums?

Hmm, I can't seem to find a source for it, I could've sworn that I once read that Rayman 3's early story had the 1000 lums stored in a bank vault, which the Hoodlums robbed. Since I can't find a source though, I'll retract this one.

EDIT: Looks like this isn't the first time I've asked this question. I should mentally blacklist it. In the meantime, here's a new question.

It has a fixed duration (but can be interrupted by shooting), while in all subsequent games it can be turned on and off at will.

Indeed. In the 2D games, Rayman cannot be moved while charging, while in Rayman 2, you can only strafe when charging an attack.

There are two types of red lums in the game: they usually appear as red wingless orbs with smaller red points orbiting them, however the Rayman 2 style red lums (with wings and no orbiting lights) can also appear when a black lum is converted back into a red lum, and in certain cutscenes.
