I had a look at the Twilight Gulch DSI walkthrough on youtube anc can confirm the song as Mr.Stone's theme, which normally plays during his boss-battle.

Calm down with the Caps Lock. oo

I confirmed about Rayman's animation of hitting the head when ducked. It also exists in the PC version.

In the PC edition some of the Betilla Power Get Levels had lives in them, as in the DSI if I understand correctly. Not sure about the GBA Advance edition though, I never played that.

Oh and, Only a few more dots to go!

If I remember well, it's the World of Rayman CP, a game for young children.

Junior is only the name for the PS1 port though; there's so many editions of it I can't tell which one was the first.

Well, to go along with the press select to skip a stage of a level secret, I found if you press the L or R buttons in the pause menu it makes the noise that it makes the popping noise that hear when you select something in it. possible cheat input or something? when I press L or R all I hear is the noise and nothing happens. x, y, and left and right on the dpad don't do anything (could be used to put in cheats also). (up and down are used to move through selections and a and b are used to enter/back out of menus).
Maybe there is a way to put in the full power/99 lives/level select/move rayman anywhere cheats?
EDIT:
This has to be. The L and R triggers only make the noise when you are on the main pause screen. If you go into a sub section (anti-dark matters, change name, credits) the triggers won't make the noise.

DSi XL.
There's no known cheats for this version so far, except for the press select to skip a stage of a level I found (only on levels youve already beaten)..
