Hrm... I'll check it out, but I'm guessing the last minigame would probably have something to do with unlocking it via your GBA since that's how you get 2D Madness normally on Gamecube.
That and there was the whole fabled "final challenge" thing that Ubisoft mentioned in their press release about the Gamecube exclusives that I have yet to see any sign of in both the handheld or console version.

Yeah, that was ages ago... I think we both forgot about it.
Well it's good that Haruka was at least able to confirm the presence of the gems. I seem to remember a few people thinking I was lying when I first mentioned them on RZ a couple of years ago...

But now I prooved that Spiral isn't mad.
Still, I must see if someday I can get the GBA version of R3, to play the extra levels downloaded from the GC game.

I tried everything but I have no idea what button you press or what when you go to the Gamecube link screen. Even if it doesn't work for you, you should get the game anyway because it's the second best 2D Rayman platformer ever.
(Counting R1, R1 GBC, R2F, R3 GBA, RRR GBA and RRR DS)

I know, I have the N-GAGE version which I love it.

You have to have Rayman 3 GBA inserted into a GBA and connected to one of the controller ports to the Gamecube through the GC-GBA link cable. On Rayman 3 GC, you go to the GBA extras and just sit at the screen. On Rayman 3, GBA, you go to the Gamecube island on the map screen (It's on the very left before the first world).
Once linked, you should get a message on the Gamecube that a minigame has been unlocked (2D Madness), and then on the GBA version, it should fade to a screen where you can choosed from 10 levels to download. When you complete one, you get a checkmark. I've completed all 10, but nothing seems to happen when you get all checkmarks.
If none of this is working, possible you have a bad GC-GBA link cable? I can also confirm that this works on the Wii as well, if you are playing Gamecube games from there.

I have a Wii and a cable for that, but still I don't know when I can buy the game.

I would say at this point, the best bet is used from either Ebay or Amazon.

Hmm, I guess I either have a bad disc or a bad cartridge. I have two GC-GBA link cables and neither work with what you just said, but they do work with Mad Trax and Wheelis. I also have 1,000 lums on R3 GBA. Oh well, don't worry about it.

The problem is that I can't buy stuff on those websites... one of the reasons is because I am not 18.
But there's a shop close to my country's capital that sells still R3 for GBA for less than 20€, but their e-mail isn't working well apparently... so to buy it I should deslocate personally to the place.

Can't you like, get your mum or dad to get it for you on eBay? I mean I used to have someone get things for me before I was 18. =/

As if my mother knew how to buy stuff on the internet and as if my father trusted in auction websites.

Oh it'll take a lot more to prove that.

I still think it's some kind of debug symbol for the spawner that they forgot to make invisible in the GameCube version.

I wonder why Ubi Soft didn't remake of R3 for the DS. Not like R2 and RDS, but like RRR1 and RRR1(DS).

Because they can't be bothered. Why remake an old game if they can't be arsed to make a new one?
It would be easier to port R3 to the PSP
