Yes, that should work. Using the srcset attribute is another option. I don't have much time at the moment, but I'll give it a try whenever I do!

That a very cool special rank. Now that I think about it, if I pick a special rank before RD, would it be changed anyway during RD or would it stay the same?

Well, your rank probably will be changed during RD indeed. But I guess if you had time left on your Special Rank we could put it back afterwards. Of course, it may not even arise since Record Day is still over a month away!

If I remember correctly I accumulated two SOTM wins in a row (which is the reason I can't submit signatures anymore), so the special rank would still remain after RD.

Well the original rev is archived here thanks to a user who found it OK to quote a large post ( ). I honestly thought I had archived the 2012-21 rev when we replaced it, but it seems I didn't, there's no sign of it

You know, looking back through this list, I think some of the "special ranks" are now just normal ranks on the ranklist, aren't they? It would be kind of confusing to have someone with a Globox rank yet have insufficient Tings.

It’d be pretty sad getting a toad or Incrediball rank now that they only cost a couple hundred tings

OK, thanks to a little Perl script I wrote, the archive no longer contains any ranks from the official list, and all the URLs for ranks which have been uploaded to the server have been updated. I also removed a duplicate Cool Rayman, and added Green Globox! The next step is for me to upload all the rest of them to the server (in the appropriate folder) and check if there are any missing…

Why doesn’t steo just keep the GreenGlob rank on all the time so Jade can have the Globox rank?
