Close but no doughnut.

Team 1 - 4 points
Team 2 - 4 points

Well, it comes down to this; the final question! A tie game, but that will change after this (hopefully).

Team 1: Look at the picture below.

Where/how can you find that?

Team 2: What kills the red Sea Dragon in Rayman Legends?

Looks to me like the orb plinth in the Cave of Bad Dreams where the mini-Janos first appear

Yeah, but I'm thinking it's actually that unused orb texture found in the files... Not totally sure though since the colors are close

Now that you mention it I'm pretty sure you're right, the colour looks the exact same as the unused base to me while the original was a lot more yellow

This plinth can be found in the Cave of Bad Dreams. The textures on it are however unused, and left over in the files and would normally not display in that area.

Heh, didn't I upload that image?

As for our question, I'm pretty sure the Red Sea Dragon is defeated when you flush the water out, but it has been a while since I ran through Legends...

I'm pretty sure the way you're supposed to defeat him is like all the other bosses (kicking and punching the pink ball-like thingy with the derpy eyes and mouth that appears in random places)

That's only the case with the Origins bosses, I think you're thinking of the Murray. The Red Sea Dragon, if memory serves, is the creature who chases you during the Dark Teensy chase level in 20,000 Lums under the Sea.

Oh, yeah! Now I remember! The giant underwater dragon boss where you have to avoid being eaten by it!

By the way, I have absolutely no clue! It was such a long ago when I last played Rayman Legends too!

Bugger, almost out of time.

At the end of the chase sequence, Rayman is able to flush the water out, thus draining away the dragon.

Both teams are correct!

Team 1 - 5 points
Team 2 - 5 points

Ah, looks like we have ourselves a tie. That means we will move on to the tiebreaker (Fastest Finger First). In this tiebreaker, a nominated player from each team will join me in the IRC (if it's still up) at a set date and time and go head-to-head in correctly answering a brand new set of questions. Whoever answers 3 out of 5 correctly wins and their team will advance to the final round.

Here's an example of what the questions will look like:

Code: Select all

Put these Rayman 1 enemies in order, based on who appears first in-game (intro doesn't count).

A - Hunter
B - Antitoon
C - Livingstone
D - Little Livingstone
E - Piranha

Answer: BACED
Vote for who should represent your team in the Fastest Finger First!

Basically both contestants join an instant messenger channel and have to answer the question before the other person, similar to a gameshow format where the first to push the buzzer ("fastest finger") gets to answer the question.

But does that mean this time only non-captains are allowed to submit answers too?

By the way I vote for Master

This is a 1v1, you're voting for a representative for your team to go up the other team's representative in the fastest finger round.

I see I've been nominated, but I'd like to give fair warning that I am back in Uni and will be increasingly busy with assignments and projects, I don't think it'll come to it, but I may have to relinquish the nomination to someone else if I can't make a mutual time.

Well, guess we will have to do the Fastest Finger First here instead. Looks like it will be Carrot vs. Master.

Can you think of a good date and time that you will be able to be here for the Fastest Finger First, Master?
