Re: Rayman 3
I don't think it would be possible to port R3 to DS, due to the DS's capacities.
Re: Rayman 3
As said before, the PSP would be a far better candidate.
However, now that they've switched to download only with the PSPGo...

Re: Rayman 3
So they can't remake the R3 version to something like they did to RRR1 for the DS huh? I think they could. I just wish that game was Rayman Hoodlums' Revenge. That game is so hard!
Re: Rayman 3
RHR was a good game, the controlling methods are just a little confusing in certain situations.

Re: Rayman 3
Did anyone ever manage to F1 (you know, the examine thingie) a hoodloon and/or kill it?
Re: Rayman 3
I did that for various Hoodlums a couple years ago, yes.

Re: Rayman 3
What does it say at the hoodloon? By the way: I managed to cheat my way through SBTC, and I found a funny animation: when you shoot a hoodlum coming down with a balloon, he swallows the balloon and blows up
and I managed to find some hoodlums and a hoodloon standing still in the air... but I can't hit the hoodloon...

Re: Rayman 3
You can do the balloon-thing without cheating. I've done it several times.

Re: Rayman 3
Was Rayman: Hoodlums' Revenge originally going to be an addon for the PC version of Rayman 3? I think I heard something like that somewhere, but it was ages ago.
Re: Rayman 3
I never heard something like that before, it's probabily a fake memory.spiraldoor wrote:Was Rayman: Hoodlums' Revenge originally going to be an addon for the PC version of Rayman 3? I think I heard something like that somewhere, but it was ages ago.

Re: Rayman 3
I have further proof that the Xowar secret is opened based on total score: The other day, I decided to play the game again and I got 44000 before the secret room in TTOTL, but my overall score was only 400k.

Re: Rayman 3
Rayman 3 ported to PSP would be so cool but it's been so long since R3 was first released that I dont think they'd bother anymore.

Re: Rayman 3
It wouldn't be that cool... they'd have to downgrade the graphics, as well as adapt to the loss of two triggers and an analogue stick. I'd rather see it ported to current-generation systems.
Re: Rayman 3
But it's curious because Ubisoft never released a Rayman game to the PSP.

Re: Rayman 3
Yes, that is rather strange.
Re: Rayman 3
The DS isn't that good with graphics, i'm done with all DS things and versions because of this.Rayman9930 wrote:So they can't remake the R3 version to something like they did to RRR1 for the DS huh? I think they could. I just wish that game was Rayman Hoodlums' Revenge. That game is so hard!
If i ever buy a portable console again, it will be of Sony or Microsoft. (if they make one)
The 3DS will be shit too, i bet you can just play it on your computer with an emulator.
But a 2D version of R3 would be good.
Just like Rayman on the GBA.

Re: Rayman 3
Rayman 3 is on my list of favorite games. Which world is your favorite?
Re: Rayman 3
I like most The Land of the Livid Dead, it's just beautiful. X3
Re: Rayman 3
My favourite level is definitely TLOTLD because it combines true scenic value with fantastic competitive gameplay. The forest, the bog and the desert are also levels I admire because of their great roaming environments.
