Even so, what happens in History effects what they become now, if that weren't the case Scotland and England won't still be brutal rivals (although it's not as extreme now as it was then the links are still there). Culture is simply something that history creates, you cannot make cake without the flour.

It is something that history creates, but it is not something that historical events create. There is a difference
