"One trip, and you're hooked"
What is with Rayman 1 and its LSD image?

Captivating, mind bending and addictive...
One trip and you're hooked.
...
You'll experience a heightened sense of visual awareness. You'll hear strange and beautiful sounds. ... One trip into Rayman's kaleidoscopic domain and you'll be addicted.
...
Rayman. The most twisted state of mind you can obtain without a prescription.
Anyone know if there are any Rayman dealers near me?

I guess so, found a low-res image of the box on GameFAQs with the same text, as well as this.

Rayman: The Short Trip.
Hm, now for our next topic of conversation somewhere, let's make Rayman subtitles with drug references in them!
Ahem, anyways, part of me realises that this is kinda typical in a way, but part of me never thought I'd see this sort of upfront reference regardless.

Rayman Drug references? Oh, I got this. Ahem.
What if Gong Heights was actually Bong Heights?
That would explain all the walking musical instruments with eyes.
And all those bloodshot eyes.
And why the Musician likes music so much.
Not all those tubey things are clarinets and flutes.
Those little floaty clouds came from somewhere.
Also, 'Dream Forest', wink wink nudge nudge.

I don't see why that require a boon, but yeah, this is an idea with potential, the Rayman LSD experience must be known!

Well, it seems this thread has become the "discuss Rayman 1's image of drugs" thread. Wait, that gives me an idea, someone should make a thread of that.

Then why don't you make it since you thought of it first?
Anyways, it's on eBay again:

I didn't want to post this one up, since I was planning to get it, but I don't think I'll be able to afford it, considering the shipping.

I'm pretty sure one of the only Rayman comics is in this magazine? (
https://raymanpc.com/wiki/en/Hands_Down!) I would've loved to have my own copy. Maybe someone in the community would fancy picking one up?

Am I dreaming or does it really say $2 shipping to my location?
Oh wait that is for America. Says $13 for me.
So this magazine has Comics of all characters on front page?

Hm, a physical copy of that Rayman comic, interesting, I can imagine that'd be quite the piece of merchandise for you collectors, go for it, I say.
