Rayman Pirate-Community

+ Oh yeah I forgot, I went a bit mad and bought expensive RGB cables last night for GameCube, PS2 and Xbox.
+ PS2 and Xbox can use component, but then sometimes might want to still use a CRT.
+ I also ordered a component PS2 cable that's gold plated.
- Decent component cables are impossible to find for Xbox so I'm probably just going to have to revise my DIY one if need be.
- Component cables are crazy expensive for GameCube but then PAL GameCube games don't use it anyway, they're all PAL 50Hz (576i) or PAL 60Hz (480i)
+ I have the OSSC anyway so it should look OK even if I have to use Bob deinterlacing

+ It finally started raining!

+ I wanna play Rayman 3 but I literally can't make up my mind which version to play
+ PC has better graphics, but I also like to play my consoles too since I have them

+ Wow I just blew Rayman 3 in like 4-5 hours.

+ I got my copy of BG&E on PS2 !
- But i still didn’t find a new PS2.
- I will go back to school for a part of my Netherland exam.

+ Yay I finally got the software I'm using to stop showing that bloody watermark!!
- Now....I have to delete all my videos and restart them without that watermark!
- I am very concerned about the next 5 months.
- It turns out, the seminar I went to was actually a weight loss program.
- WTF?? Ketosis diet? You mean I have to give up almost ALL food for these shakes???

- I'm probably underweight instead but I always feel sick thanks to acid reflux
- I woke at 3am after 2 hours sleep and now I can't sleep

+ I'm getting my Bluetooth adapter today so I can use my controller wirelessly on my PC
+ I'm also getting a PS2 component cable that might not look like absolute sharts today
+ I may also be getting the capture card I ordered today so I can also record from those consoles without using the quality of sharts

- Yeah I have to now test the shake diet by going through it for a week before I actually go do it.
++ Time to record some new videos for Rayman Advance!
+ This week I am going to save for a USB keyboard.
+ Hopefully, Rayman 3 on PC will let me use that!
+ Then I can try helping with all the stuff you guys are talking about in the scoring topic

+ Rayman 3 most certainly will work with that
+ You can just disable Vertex Processing (basically TnL) if you have graphical glitches as a workaround
+ I'm still not full on sure between Xbox or PC, but maybe I'll just switch between them all since I own them. It's all practice at the end of the day

+ My score improved in the FC!
+ It's all thanks to the 3 Matuvu combo.
- Though I only managed it after hours of practice.
-- I still can't do it perfectly, the first time was luck.
- It all depends on the placing with the matuvu after collecting the red gem, and placing it exactly within a millisecond is really hard, I dunno if I can pull that off with my version of Rayman 3.
+ If I do succeed I'm going to record it.
+ No more fecking watermark to bar me from releasing now!

- I still never managed the 3 Matuvu combo. I got so fed up pressing load game and sometimes even failing to roll off the edge properly that I just got fed up
+ I'll be trying it again but probably last since it's not a high scoring level

+/- ? Perhaps I was doing the combo wrong if you mentioned rolling off the edge. I'll try and videotape it later and show you the combo I came up with.

+ Oh well the one I was doing was to take the first one, kill the enemy then get the second, roll off the edge continue with gems and get the red one while trying to somehow point the camera down really fast.

+ Hmmmm....interesting. What I did was kill Andre, then take the corkscrews really quickly minus the one the Slapdash was on, get the first matuvu, get all the gems surrounding the corkscrews, then hit the last corksrew and the Slapdash, then rush out and point the camera down really fast at the second matuvu. THen afterwards rush off the platform, collect all/most of the gems in the bottom, and finally after collecting the red gem in the middle, point the camera down towards the third and last matuvu.
- The last one is what's tricky since it requires perfect placing within less than a second.
+ I've only pulled it off once so far (with savestates)
- I have to keep practicing this new combo.
