Indeed, clouds vanish when Rayman lands on them, which also happens in the Atari jaguar version. The question however, was:

They open their eyes momentarily when you land on them just before the cloud vanishes in the Atari Jaguar version Rayman.

Yup, this is what I should get for rushing out my answer.

but also before they diapear without you steping on them as a little nitice
also im pretty sure because the clouds in rayman advance are sometimes broken, they CAN open their eye, but im not sure
