I heard that the Smurfs movie could be way better. Something failed for sure.
It really isn't difficult to make the concept work, it's just that directors can sometimes be incredibly fucking stupid themselves.El Dango wrote:Never seen it myself, but could it have something to do with it taking place in the real world? Come on, the Saw movies are so bad they're freaking hilarious.BarkingChaos wrote:I personally prefer slasher movies where everyone dies. Except Saw. I won't question that, but it still seems like a lazy solution to me.RayFan9876 wrote:It really isn't difficult to make the concept work, it's just that directors can sometimes be incredibly fucking stupid themselves.El Dango wrote:Never seen it myself, but could it have something to do with it taking place in the real world? Funny, thats how I see most slasher movies. I have yet to find a "scary" movie that doesnt make me laugh in some way, but for me, Saw went over the edge and just kinda plummeted from so bad its funny to just "ok, this is getting old now" badDesLife wrote:Come on, the Saw movies are so bad they're freaking hilarious.BarkingChaos wrote:I personally prefer slasher movies where everyone dies. I guess so. But it seemed like a good idea at the time, before it turned cliche.El Dango wrote:Never seen it myself, but could it have something to do with it taking place in the real world? By myself. That could be whyDesLife wrote:Well, did you watch them on your own or with friends ? I wouldn't even bother to watch that stuff alone, I'd be way too bored.
I never watched but I've heard about it.Tobbe wrote:Watched Cidade de Deus yesterday, a film about life in a Brazilian favela. Very good movie. Anyone else seen it?
But I can't stand the saw series. At all.DesLife wrote:Come on, the Saw movies are so bad they're freaking hilarious.BarkingChaos wrote:I personally prefer slasher movies where everyone dies.
