Ah, parents turning off the computer before 11pm! I used dealing with such a dictatorship as well when I was younger and they were always telling it was for my good which pissed me off! I found a solution so I can get back to the computer one hour after. So yeah, it's easily understandable: I wasn't sleeping till midnight and then I was walking discreetly to the computer to power it on back and playing Rayman 1 on it. Too bad for me I once banged the door with my head unintentionally because as you know I wear glasses so lurking in the dark isn't a thing I love that much. I thought I didn't woke up my father and mother because I didn't see them coming in after a few minutes so I came to my computer as usual and I have sit on my SpongeBob chair. Damn Fifo, my man, I had so much good and bad memories where I was sitting on my SpongeBob chair! 10 minutes after my father has put his hand on my shoulder and I quickly understood what was about to happen... Yeah, you're right, he took me to the garage without making any noise and he beat the shit out of me with a set of jumper cables.Fifo wrote:I would if those idiot parents stopped forcing me to turn off my computer! The Jonster wrote:+ You should, like, totally try chilling with something you like doing.![]()
I’m just tired of not having enough freedom. My parents are way too fucking strict!Steo wrote:- I can't believe someone can hate their family so much![]()
Turns out it's actually 17 days but I have other games to play at the moment. The Jonster wrote:- 20 days sounds rough.

+ You and I seem to have something in common. I do the same thing in that situation but it's a phone and not a computer.Harpic fraîcheur wrote:I found a solution so I can get back to the computer one hour after. + Same thing, when I was a kid I used to sneak into the room my computer, my consoles, etc. were in at the dead of night and play.R4Y_ANC3L wrote:+ You and I seem to have something in common. + That...is a very good question.R4Y_ANC3L wrote:+That being said about emulators..
+ What are the hidden meanings for emulators to be created for purposes other than not needing a console to play a game for that particular missing console?
- Lucky, sometimes I'd get caught.Steo wrote:+ I used to do that sometimes too but my dad was strict so I used to play the GameBoy, DS or PSP. They'd never know

+ Nice!Steo wrote:+ I'm getting an original Xbox with double the RAM (128mb vs 64mb) and a CPU upgrade (1.4GHz vs 733MHz) this week
+ I wonder how that will run Rayman 3
+ I also wonder if I could make the game run in 720p but the GPU might not handle it still
