The euro coin is fairly similar to the old 10 francs coin, that's true.

That was the 10 francs coin?

Not sure, but they do look similar.

So I've finally opened a spreadsheet to try to actually work on that new ranklist I've been handwaving about since Record Day. And I took a look at the existing ranklist and noticed that "Mawpaw" and "Paluchard" are separate ranks, even though "Mawpaw" is just the English name for a Paluchard!
More seriously, I'm wondering about including Lums (probably not all kinds, just two or three) on the Goodies side, since the Baddies have Black Lums already. Does anyone have strong objections?

Well, the Red Lums are the counterpart of the Black Lums, but in case of Yellow Lums or Green Lums, I don't know what would be the equivalent on the Baddies side.

It won't be easy to position Lums in the ranklist as they're both insignificant collectibles and fundamental pieces of Rayman's world but I think it's a good idea to include them nonetheless.

I'm working on it… I'm thinking Origins Lums, Red Lums (as suggested by Elite), Green Lums (we have the Photographer, so why not these?), Yellow Lums and Super Yellow Lums. I guess Purple and Blue should go somewhere in there too though!

Sounds like a sensible order!

I wonder, are there any transparent PNGs of the Red, Green and Yellow lums that can be used to create the ranks? I remember that at some point I tried to look for one, but since I didn't find any,
I made my own.
Edit: I found
this one, I don't know if it is official.

Apparently it's that user's "own work", so it's not official. It's interesting that it's on Russian Wikipedia though! Anyway, could Raymap help us here?

This does indeed resonate with Droolie's suggestion that it could be used to get nice 3D snapshots of various models from the games.

As far as I remember, you needed to download it instead of running the web version if you wanted transparent images. I couldn't get it to work, but it should work on Windows.

It works fine for me on Linux… Did you select the right scene in the project before trying to run it? I remember scratching my head until Droolie pointed out that that needs to be done:

EDIT: More importantly, I've drafted a straw ranklist as a subpage to my RayWiki user page:
https://raymanpc.com/wiki/en/User:PluMG ... evelopment – this was the easiest way I could think of doing it.

There's one empty slot on it, and there are lots of questionable choices there, so please feel free to suggest / demand changes!
In particular, I'm not happy with where the fairies are. I think it's logical, given what we know about the universe, to group them together near the top, but then they're out of reach to so many!

Oh, well then I guess this would explain it.

That being said, I only kind of tried it once, then didn't bother to look into it much.

You should try it, it's really cool! You can even use memory modification to alter running instances of Rayman 2/3 (although I haven't got that working without involving an SSH and/or VNC connection, given the problems with Alt+Tabbing from those games!

)
I just realized that my list is missing important characters like Murfy and Razoff!

Well, anyway, I'd like some feedback before I re-draft it!

In case of the Tribelle rank, I would suggest the Podocrock as the evil counterpart, since they're both pretty insignificant and small creatures that give you points (the Tribelles if you approach them correctly and the Podocrocks if you defeat them in combo mode). In case of the Matuvus that like to hide, maybe the Muddibogs could be the evil counterpart since they hide underground.
Also, I don't know what a Janod is.

Good thinking! I was considering including those two, but I couldn't work out where to put them.
The Janod is another name for the Psychlops, and I assumed the wiki would have a redirect – pity the current style doesn't highlight bad links in red! I've added the redirect now!

Thanks for adding the redirect. Also, I was thinking that Ales Mansay could be the evil counterpart of the Magician from Rayman 1. Gandalf could be paired with the Flaming Teensie who had a change of heart in Rayman Mini.

So it wasn’t just me.

Also, I wanted to mention that Umber doesn't necessarily have to be on the Baddies side (in most versions of the wiki he is considered a good guy), so he could be the counterpart of Foutch.
