Does this cheat let you do anything interesting?

Well, I've found invincibility, 99 lives, and full power.
Found another;

R trigger, down, left, right, left, up, L trigger unlocks all of your powers. (fist, grappling fist, helicopter, run, hang ledges).

This confirms, but I have no idea what it does.
L trigger, up, left, right, left, L trigger

Found another.
R trigger, up, left, right, down, right, L trigger.
Level select. Lets you walk anywhere on the map even if the level icon isn't there.
Aweh. Doesn't let me walk on the present, no breakout game then I guess 3:

Okay, so here's a total list of everything I found so far..
You enter these while paused in game or on the map (some of these will de-activate themselves if you enter them twice).
L trigger, right, up, right, left, right, R trigger - Invincibility
L trigger, down, up, down,R trigger -10 hitpoints
L Trigger left, right, down, right, left, R trigger - 99 lives
L trigger, up, left, right, left, L trigger - ???
R trigger, up, left, right, left L trigger- ???
R trigger, up, left, right, down, right, L trigger - level select
R trigger, down, left, right, left, up, L trigger - unlock all powers
It seems that the left or right trigger is used to "start" the cheat, then you use the dpad to enter the cheat from there, and the left or right trigger on the dsi is always used to "end" the cheat.
When you put in a correct button input for a cheat, you will hear that suction cup noise heard in the menus, and your selection will not move on the menu. When you finish a cheat, you will hear the "ding" noise (the first time you put in a cheat, it will also tell you that you are entering a cheat and it will disable anti-matters which are achivments). Any cheats you put in after that will just make the ding noise and no message, until you either pick quit game, or turn off the dsi. Quitting or turning off the dsi will disable any cheats you have on and re-enable anti-matters.
If anyone has rayman dsi, help me find more cheats (if there are any left).

I am trying to run Rayman 1 on Linux, but don't get any sound. I don't installed the game in normal way, I just copied over the files from the CD..

I installed it properly, but I don't get any music, even though I mounted the CD in DOSBox with the last level of support.

However I cannot hear any sound. That works in the soundtest in the installer but I got some write corruption error when I try to install. I should run the installer in DOSBox, right?

I ran the installer in DOSBox, yes.

Maybe I have missed something obvious like mounting the target dir in write mode....

No. No! NOO!!

Btw I got the sound to work! I had to use the sound config and then install the game so it makes a cfg file that turns the sound on. And I had mounted the C: drive in the Rayman folder, that's why I got error, because it searched for Rayman/Rayman that doesn't exists.
