OK then
If your monitor or TV is set to 50Hz, you'll notice the judder a lot more but this is recorded at 50fps meaning it should be smooth and you can see the stuttering effect about 5 times a second. That would really bother me but it does look a lot worse on a CRT.
Just compare that to how smooth the game should look at 60Hz and you'll get what I mean.
Thanks everybody! I need some time to think how the pace of my quiz will go and what questions I'm going to ask, but i don't think it will be too hard for me
That reminds me, when can I start hosting Ambi?
Thanks Ambi. I tried, though I did make a couple of mistakes I got through it
The main mistakes were forgetting 2 parts to an answer on one question, forgetting to tell Birds to skip the next question after answering 2 successfully and then giving Birds "poins" rather than "points"

It's probably more noticeable on a TV, but I don't think it looks that terrible, just a little rough around the edges.
Also, we're talking about 2013 here, so I don't think a lot of people even used a CRT and 50Hz at that point.

Yeah nobody really would be using a CRT
If I could put the video side by side with a 60Hz one then you'd notice the difference. It's very annoying in person when you're trying to play as it has a horrible frame skipping and blending effect. If you ever have a PAL PS3, just hook it up via composite and play RL and you'll see what I mean. Even without a CRT you'll still notice it on an LCD when the game is 60Hz but the TV is running at 50Hz.

Well I got through it anyway so yay!
Everybody makes mistakes. Why I probably will make a few mistakes here and then too.

I enjoyed hosting it and I'm just glad i managed to host it successfully until someone reached 10 points. I even had a couple of questions that got people stuck

Yeah, I won't deny that your 50Hz question was fairly enjoyable to solve, Which makes me curious to know if other Rayman titles released on the seventh generation of consoles could run at that speed.

I'll have to look into that. My guess is Origins (backwards compatibile) will still do it on xbox one. I guess Legends will just be the same as PS3 with the stutter as the challenges would have to be full speed. Nevertheless, I want to check that out now
Good evening to all! Or, is it morning? Eh, who cares. It has now turned midnight where I am, which means I am now capable of hosting the next TTQ!! YAY! (clap clap)
Though, I would like to start in 10-18 hours from this post, since I'm practically too sleepy to start. How does that sound for everyone?
I hope someone updates that first post soon....

Did I say 10? I changed my mind, I'm going to start now instead.
I officially declare this Teensie Quiz Quest OPEN!!
The pace will be randomized, so I will ask between 1-5 questions with varying difficulties each day, so be prepared, and good luck to all!!
So my first question:
Question 1: What kind of Hoodlum was Andre?

Question #2: In Allegro Presto in Rayman 1, there is a secret area in Part 2. Please tell me which versions feature this area and what is hidden there? (describe a number with this answer also)
Edit: Sorry I hadn't meant to color code the first question.
