I have to agree, Spiraldoor. Rayman 3 is a great game, but it pales in comparison to Rayman 2.

R2 was, and still is, the best game that Ubisoft released. I hope that the future games after "Rabbids Go Home" will continue in the same style and quality as R2.

Yeah, Rayman 2 is definitely my favorite Rayman. If you haven't already, you should play Beyond Good and Evil, Ancel's other major project. I just finished BG&E again last weekend and a lot of the characters and scenery look like the come right out of Rayman 2. The egg robots and the beetles especially look like Rayman type enemies. The factory and disgusting slauterhouse levels don't really fit, but that's a whole 'nother creepy vibe.

Look at the windows of the fire house, now play Rayman 2 and look at the windows in The fairy Glade. Also, the hills next to the fire house remind me much of The Land of the livid Dead in Rayman 3.

I can imagine it.

Mr. Dark: Rayman... I... am your father.
Rayman: Ow, yow uw stoow.

If you didn't get that, just listen to everything that Rayman says in Rayman 2. The PC version. Gibberish, man, gibberish. Some things even sound like ''Ow, yow uw stoow''.
