I mean come on, people are given 3 flippin' weeks to think, choose and probably even beat me skill-wise. What you've FUUUUU'd over is a sig made out of pure boredom, only for the heck of participating.
Is a custom rank really worth throwing a fit over 8 animation cells? Srsly?

Juli - you have just broken the hearts of pretty much every contestant. Way to go girl.
Still, the attempts by the pitiful masses to beat yours will be fun to watch!

I'll be having plenty of free time next week to put something together.

"Broken their hearts"? More like gave an inspiring kick to wake up and act. Because some of then just won't understand otherwise.
Make me be proud of ya, guys. At least for once.

And I can make a "blank" (no name) variant of the teensie sig and give it to the author whose work I'll like the most - as a sign of "personal fav"...

Not for
me, for
yourself.

I'm only rooting for you all and honestly,
don't care if my teensies won't win.
It only will be a proof that you've proven me wrong and can put more heart and effort into works when needed.

Then why didn't you, Juli?

Didn't root like that for anyone before, you meant?

I wish I knew. Maybe because of getting familiar with RPC and not knowing well all things that were going on.
Plus, being a contributor in a large Rayman-related group at dA has a side effect of "quality geek". The contributors are to motivate other members to reach their level. Here I try the same thing.

No, I meant 'putting your heart and soul into works where needed'.
You imply that this is a situation where a lot of effort must be used, yet you claim not to have done so. It seems like a rather two-tier attitude to me; one which, to be honest, I wouldn't have expected of you.
Still, let's put this aside. Freestyle is going to be an interesting one!

Ah, that...

Yes and no - in this case I simply thought that the teensie brushes I made a while ago can come in handy. But I didn't expect them to cause such reaction.
And see the edit above.

Ah, I see... except we're not artists.

Said the person whose chibis won the "From scratch!" contest and got the current sig as a prize.
Even if not artists in general, still, it is possible to make something eye-catching. Like at dA (again) - they often have contests where the participants have to make a collage/photomanip out of several stock arts.

Would look better without a truckload of extra signs and with "landscape" orientation.

At Diamante's request, two possible variants of sig design with Rayman graffiti (I only give hints, not remake everything!):
