I simply pointed out the difference betwen history and historical events. I never said there was no link; I just said there is a huge difference.

Well it would depend on ones definition of huge, for me it would be so little that's there's hardly any of it. It's one of those words that could easily be misinterpereted.

I do, but I came from England and I want to go back there once I move out. I consider myself British, although I'm half German and half British. It's my proud heritage, I like it. I also have an accent that's diminished over the years but I'm bringing it back now.

Actually I do technically have minor tourettes coupled with OCD. But it's not too noticeable.

Same here. I live in the United States, but I am dutch. I hate it when people compare me to them, as I am proud of my culture. America and Canada can have a... strange culture sometime. Even the people on the wacky island Curaçoa that I visited said so.

Well, I visited an Ostrich Farm. You could ride one, but he said you can get injured from it. The Ostrich is one of the fastest animals, so riding one isn't smart. He said that the people from Canada and America are the only ones to do that.
