I am actually glad I did not fall in the trend of Skylanders, otherwise I would have regretted already with the reveal of the amiibos. I'm personally more in favour of figures that have different effects in different games than being made just for one game. I think it is more worth the money in my opinion. The universe of Nintendo interests me more by far too so...

Got 3DS Ambassador Edition today and Rhythm Thief R Import. So happy
System transfer had error at first but second time it worked, now my main 3DS for local games in Ambassador New 3DS while old one will never be updated again and be used for Japanese imports with regionthreehack.

Groovy, OCG!
Also, it's revealed that Club Nintendo is putting 117 games to use coins on. Some of them are even full fledge games such as "Super Mario 3D Land", "Kid Icarus: Uprising", "Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D" and more!

Shame the European Club Nintendo seems to have fear to lose money with the games because we don't have such service of points trading.

Talking about amiibos, we're probably gonna see some Animal Crossing themed ones if the big N announces a wii u title for the series this year. The Mario Party amiibos look pretty sweet too.
Also, did anyone see their creator program? I kind of seriously doubt that anyone is going to sign up for it. The thing is though, even if people aren't gonna join that shitfest, I really hope nintendo isn't going to start to try and censor anything that talks negatively about their games/consoles.

The rotten flagging system of YouTube is one of the things that makes me step away from partnerships. I already had two unhappy experiences with that, and for the sake of not seeing my channel shut down for a stupid reason I cannot upload anything until the warnings expire.

Not going to sign up, I will continue my copyright revolution.
I really am fan of Nintendo developers like Sakurai and Miyamoto but whoever manages their YouTube policy should be fired as soon as possible.
Creator Program could only be useful for channels looking for partnerships but nobody who is already partnered should trade partnership.

Meh, I'm very likely skipping Mario Party 10 in favor of Splatoon and Xenoblade Chronicles X.
I'd recommend those titles over Mario Party any day, since Splatoon is a new IP, and Xenoblade, well... looks incredible.

To be honest I think MP2 and 3 were the best.

A friend of mine aproves that statement

I'd say I liked MP1 the best, MP2 and MP3 were pretty good, but they deviated a little from the core formula, and MP3 was a bit too linear for my tastes.

Yeah, don't really care for Xenoblade. I am definitely getting Mario Party 10 since I have never played a Mario Party title and no, I'm not going to buy a previous installment, I don't care. But Splatoon is a game I'm definitely interested in.

Nobody here is looking forward to Xenoblade? Really? Mario Party looks fun and all but it's the 10th installment...
The beef I've had with the Wii U lately was it's constant use of rehashes, Mario Maker looks fun, but it's something that should've existed years ago. Mario Party looks fun but until I find it cheap I'm really not interested in another rehash.

Makes sense, the only time I've ever had fun with Mario Party was when I was playing with others, never alone really.
I am going to check out the upcoming Kirby considering I loved Canvas Curse on the DS.

The newest Kirby looks fun, but I'm not sure about getting that or Triple Deluxe first.

Hmm, between the two, I'd go for Triple Deluxe meself. Though that's probably due to an inclination towards the classic style, as opposed to the less conventional touch control idea that Canva Curse started.
Though there's no denying that Rainbow Curse has a brilliant soundtrack:

Rainbow Curse looks fun but I think there's a good reason why the game is being priced at only $40. It looks... kind of cheaply thrown together.
I know I'll enjoy the game no doubt but eh.

The artstyle is definitely interesting mind you, you don't see many claymation games.
Oh, and here's the full soundtrack:

Splatoon confirmed it will not be having voice chat online.
Alright, this has to be one of the few times I'll harshly criticize Nintendo... but really? Are you fucking serious Nintendo? Splatoon is a strategic team focused game and you aren't even including voice chat? I like Nintendo but holy shit they are ridiculously behind when it comes to online. Otherwise the game looks fun but god damn, Nintendo you REALLY need to step up your game next gen, for the sake of your own company.
