Yup, it is...
You just need to be both lucky and have good reflexes in order to make it not happen... That's because you have to not touch the trigger (shown as couple of sparks)... It's kind of difficult but it's doable.
I heard it's possible in other platforms as well, but I'd like that to be confirmed.

Do people know about that, and why don't we have that music on RayTunes?

EDIT: Huh, is that Rayman Advance? Then what's that ugly looking 2d Rayman game for the GBA with three or so forest worlds?

Yes, it is Rayman Advance. I never played the Jaguar/Saturn/DSi/Palm PC versions but I can believe it is the worst version of Rayman 1.

Oh believe me, it's the worst Rayman game. The rabbids come close, but, I'm ashamed to say, that game is worse. However, are there two Rayman Advance games for the GBA then, or what?

Rayman has got 4 GBA games: Rayman Advance, Rayman 3, Rayman Hoodlums Revenge and Rayman Raving Rabbids. I didn't find the RRR really bad, the port of PC's Rayman 1 for the Game Boy Advance disappointed me.

Yes, RRR for the GBA was good (but I meant the rabbids game in general; those stupid minigames collections).

But what you're saying isn't right, it must have (at least) five. That Rayman Advance (on the Youtube video) was completely different from a Rayman game I once played on a GBA, and since RRR wasn't released back then (I believe Hoodlum's Revenge and perhaps even Hoodlum's Havoc also wasn't yet released), and since I own Hoodlum's Havoc and Hoodlum's Revenge (for the GBA)...

EDIT: Ah, I was talking about Rayman for the Gameboy Color... :P

Game Boy Color games are only two, while Game Boy Advance there are four.

It is easier than what you think. Just keep ducked from the sabertooth-shark while being slightly more to the right.

Yes I figured out that the next floating thing wasn't too far away. I stand on the first buoy after the blue jumping thing when the shark swim back from left to right. They tend to jump over you two times fast in a row then which where impossible to avoid if you don't get up in a split second first. Then on the second buoy I duck on the bullets then get up and the duck for the shark. That was hard as well. That time I take a blind jump when the shark was to the left and land on the goal.

I can make sure that Rayman 1 is cakewalk compared to Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels.

Out of boredom I decided to check for anything interesting in an auction site...
Guess what? I found a game titled "Rayman's world", which appears to be in German language (at least the cover makes me think that way)...
Do you think it would be any diffrent from Rayman 1?

(somewhere on the cover it says "...Rayman is back! ... And he is better than ever!...", which confuses me)

I think it's another version of Rayman because it reuses the cover (the "Rayman points at you" picture) and on the back there are screenshots which (at least for me) look like in the original game itself but still, this little auction got me really curious...

Was the original version playable in Windows Millenium?
Looks like I haven't done enough research... It's a German version of Rayman Gold... But still, is it worth it to buy this if I already own the 'original' Rayman 1?

Rayman's World is the German version of Rayman Gold. It means it contains the original game in german, aswell Rayman Designer in the same language.

After some research I know what it really is...
But is it worth it to buy that considering only the Rayman Designer addition? (since I already have the 'original')

Only if you want it.

But there are more complete packs around like Rayman For Ever.

Not if you use savestates (that isn't possible in Rayman?)!

They're sorta possible in ePSXe I **think** though I don't recall trying it. Definitely in Rayman Advance though with VBA.

Save states are definitely possible in ePSXe, but the system is much more sluggish and less convenient than the one implemented in VBA.

I had no problems with savestates in a PSX emulator called 'PSX'... (I'm serious)
