Rayman 3 is a great game, but it does definitely lack the magic style.

After having finished R2 as well, I'll have to say R2 beats R3.

R3
gameplay:8/10
graphics:9/10
sound:8/10
difficulty:8/10
length:10/10
replay value:9/10
overall: 52/60 (if i've done my math right!)

slightly too hard in places, could've done with a feature to choose the area you want to go insted of having to go through the whole level. (i lv snowboarding but i hate the ship level! :grrr: )

R2:
gameplay: 10/10
graphics: 8/10
sound:*so big a number that the reply screen cannot display it*/10
difficulty:7/10
length:9/10
replay value:8/10
overall:*due to sound values the display cannot take such torment*/60

could've been a bit longer and a bit harder but other than that its the best out there.

Rayman 2's graphics may look dated now, though it actually looked incredible back in the day.

Why does R3 get a 10/10 in lenght when R2 only get a 9/10?
R2 is longer than R3.

Rayman 2 is longer and harder than Rayman 3, and the graphics were better back then.

Rayman 3 I believe was intentionally finish-it-in-a-day short due to the score system.

I've seen someone give Rayman 3 55% once [and yeah you guessed it, it was Gamesmaster]. As disappointing as it was that was way to low of a score.

Sucks when people rag on Rayman 2 just because it's one of those OMG MARIO 64 RIPOFF!"12!

If people think R2 is a SM64 ripoff, they must be following:
-Blind
-Insane
-Stupid
-Mad
-Crazy
-Annoying
-Fat (kiddin')
-And rabbid fans (kiddin' again)

R2 is 100% unique. A game review site i know actually means that R2 is the best PS1 game ever.

i disagree there. the ps1 version wasn't too good, and there are much better ps1 games.

Rayman 2
Harry potter 2
Oddworld: Abes Oddysee
Oddworld: Abes Exoddus
Crash Bandicoot 2
Crash Bandicoot 3

Rayman 2 is my top Favorite, while Oddworld: Abes Oddysee is the second best and Oddworld: Abes Exoddus is third best.

YEAH!! Completely un-epic.
Makes me wonder why EA is richer than both Nintendo and Ubisoft. EA sucks.
I think Michel Ancel should have made the Harry Potter games. That would have been better. He should just have time to make the Rayman games too.

games made from movies don't ever seem to work, in my opinion.
