For me, it was the enemies that were more bothersome than the rings themselves, though the rings are still equally annoying. :P

Thanks for the congratulations guys!! I've still got a long way before I can even begin to properly navigate the road, but there's a first step for everything :)

Anyways I may or may not see you in the next challenge depending how things go in my life!! I also don't believe I've ever even played this one before on either of my save files, so I just know I'm in for a ride if I decide to try :P

I haven't tried the Ring Toss Tussle myself, but I'm assuming it really isn't going to be easy for people to get a good time on this one. :P

If people think this one is too ridiculous though, we can select another one instead, but I just thought why not make it a challenge.

Congratulations Steo, Jonster and R4Y! :teuf:

Congratulations CB too! :partyhat: Good luck figuring out how to navigate the road! :P

EDIT: Here's my time to get the ball rolling:

I may go back and improve it before the end of the month. :P

Since have been replaying the bonus levels recently, I thought I would post my record as well.

Also, I'm shocked that 4 people did 44 seconds in Vine Shrine Hunt, that time's seriously impressive.

Ah, here we go! There's no way I'll beat that, but maybe I'll still try. There are a few weekends left in the month yet!

Dang, now that's a time! :o

I got some weekends left before the deadline, but this sure will be shaping up to be quite the challenge. :)

I will make attempts as well. I doubt I will even get anywhere to make at least one record, though. X _ X

I wasn't sure how impressive it was but I did try my best. This time you got seems ridiculously good though.

I did just replay Vine Shrine Hunt and I figured out how to do it properly. 44 seconds is essentially a perfect run (except for a few tenths that might be possible to shave off).

About the Ring bonus, I've done my run having launched off every ring correctly first time. Also, in case it helps anyone: the rings basically work like a circling motion in physics (direction is perpendicular to radius kind of thing), so if Rayman is rotating clockwise and he's exactly to the left of the ring, he will launch straight up).

For some reason I just can't get this to work. It seems like I'm thrown at random most of the time. :mefiant:

I probably just suck at the game.

I am in the same situation but what annoys me even more that there are parts of it that I am just 'stuck' at when playing the minigame and when I say 'stuck', I mean not being able to continue and make more progress while still being alive. Therefore I can't even potentially complete the actual level. I might have to participate in another contest that doesn't involve jank.

I am not good at mathematics (or maybe just video games in general). That must be why I can't seem to do this minigame.

I still haven’t tried this mini game yet since my save was deleted but I’m sure you guys will try your best! :)

I doubt this has anything to do with maths!

I think it's more just in the timing, which I'm normally good with since I played a lot of older games which really relied on it growing up, and I still play retro games to this day. That being said, this challenge looks hard, and I haven't attempted it yet.

I wonder if many systems have so much input lag that you can't reasonably predict the tangent of the circular motion when you press the jump button. I could see that being the case for me, since I'm using Wine – not sure about Humch…

I'm not sure if it even has much input lag on Wine, since I used a TV when I played and I'm very sensitive to input lag.

I got suspicious when I found Yin-Yangs were so difficult to get on the paint, but I think that's more the way Rayman's fist moves than actual input lag, so maybe not.

Yeah it's probably just a variation compared to the original game.
